"Localisation centrale et facile d’accès. Bien que le stationnement soit payant, il est vaste et directement sous l’hôtel. Petit déjeuner très élaboré et savoureux. Le seul petit bémol, la chambre est un peu exigüe et il n’y a pas de support pour les valises."

"Amazing 4 night stay. Location fantastic. Hotel room with a view over the mountains, amazing. Food first class, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and couldn’t fault anything. Cheese fondue on our last evening on the terrace a real treat. Staff friendly, helpful. Only comment would be, but cheeky to charge extra for an omelette for breakfast and our car wasn’t outside at 8am despite as requesting the night before. We had to wait around 30 mins. Other than those two comments, would highly recommend staying!"

"The Hotel Ermitage was great in every way. The hotel staff was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, personable, and helpful. The quality of the accommodations was excellent; clean and well attended. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Oeschinensee Gondola and within walking distance of the town center. Very peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience."

"Excellent Internet connection. Same as at home. Mattresses Excellent. Air-conditioning work well, and not centrally controlled. Garage almost below hotel. Always available, and with AC car chargers. A lot of them. Terrace on rooftop for breakfast and coffee, looking onto mountains, town and railway. For me as good as it can be. Accidentally stayed after 11 am. No prob, no bs attitude."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, elegant, and offers everything you would expect from a luxury hotel. What truly makes it exceptional, however, is the staff. Every member of the team showed genuine dedication to ensuring guests have the best possible experience. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were outstanding across every part of the hotel. Breakfast was another highlight—beautifully presented, with an excellent variety of high-quality options that should satisfy almost every guest. My only comments concern the room. The view from the premium lake-view room felt more limited than I expected, especially considering the significant price difference. In addition, the air conditioning was not operating during my stay. I understand that the local climate is generally cool, but I still found the room uncomfortably warm until around midnight, and unfortunately the air conditioning did not help at all. Overall, this is an excellent hotel with remarkable service, and I would gladly return. With improvements to the room climate control and clearer expectations regarding the views, the experience would be close to perfect."
