"The property was quaint. It was kind of dated, but was good for what we needed it for (sleep and shower after a day out in mother nature). The shower was large enough to comfortably fit my wife and I. I didn't try the breakfast at all, so I can't rate that. I would most likely stay there again (just might get a king bed instead of the queen)."

"I am so impressed. It was like a luxury to be there for the night, so calm and peaceful, so well-appointed and maintained. You drive up and it looks like a motel but very nice. And you go to your room and it is amazing. The only single thing is that the folks in the adjoining room were a bit loud in the morning. Morning people :) It was just an amazing place, highly recommended."

"Called the office to tell them we would be arriving late in the evening. He texted us the room number and the door code so we could go straight to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable. Texted them back to tell them we had the dog, but they didn't respond. Had an appointment in town & left at 9:30 am. Came back, to pay for dog, but the maintenance guy said no one was on site & to call them. I did and they charged me $254+tax...27 something. The only drawback was the parking, we have a 1992 Ford F250 longed extended cab so finding space is a little difficult. There just wasn't any parking in front of our room and I had my computer and paper work so it was a little difficult to unpack everything and pack it back up for a one night stay."

"The Stone Cottage is at the top of my VRBO rentals. Located on a secluded but not difficult to navigate dirt road, it is tucked away amongst the trees. It is very quiet with no visible neighbors. In the winter there is the beautiful lake just outside the door. During the fall there is a wide open meadow. Take chairs down to the lake edge for a beautiful view of Mt Shasta. The interior is beautiful and cozy with a giant fireplace. Everything you need is there, from a stocked kitchen to open walk in shower and large soaking tub. The real gem though is all the windows, all the better to gaze out at the natural surroundings. I have stayed several times and I hope to again many more times. The host is friendly and responsive and she makes everything easy and worry free."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back! The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The bed was cozy. It was quiet (no one was in the larger attached house). It was easy to find. Great location not far from the road but also surrounded by so many trees you couldn't see the road and you felt like you were in a much more remote location. You could hear the road noise a little but not inside and even if you were out on the deck the road isn't that busy. Town has everything you need and is close. Great restaurants. Really flawless stay.The only thing that wasn't perfect was the couch in the living room which only matters because the TV streaming selection was AMAZING and if you decided to have an evening at home to binge something it wasn't the best couch to cozy up on."

"Hands down the best hotel experience we’ve had in a long time! If you hate waiting at the front desk, you will love this place. Online check-in was flawless, and they just email you the room key passcode so you can walk straight to your room. My husband and I travel a lot, and we have never stayed at a hotel where the WiFi worked perfectly—we usually can't even finish a single movie. But the WiFi here is top-notch! The TV uses a Rukita connection, so we just signed into our Netflix and Prime Video accounts and watched our favorite shows with zero buffering. The room was also spotlessly clean. 10/10 recommend!"
