"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this cabin again! It's an easy five-star review from us. The few "cons" are very minor and didn't take away from our experience at all. The highlights far outweighed any small inconveniences.Pros:-The covered porch with chairs and small tables offers a beautiful view. Our favorite part was relaxing outside and listening to the cows from the neighboring dairy farm.-Nice fire pit with firewood provided.-Spotlessly clean throughout the cabin.-Comfortable bed with great pillows. The hosts mention that all of the bedding is freshly washed, and it definitely felt that way.-Conveniently located just a short drive from Black Mountain, a charming town with plenty of great restaurants and shops.-Well-equipped full kitchen with a dishwasher and full-size refrigerator and icemaker.-Clean bathroom with a spacious shower.Cons (very minor):-The cabin is located off a main road, but the traffic noise inside was minimal.-There isn't a dedicated dining area. There's a very small table with stools stored underneath, so we ended up using the tray tables for meals, which worked fine.-There is a grill available, but it's a campfire-style grill located very close to the road. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and relaxing place near Black Mountain with beautiful views, this is an excellent choice."

"My husband and I went to this cabin for a quick one night getaway. The cabin was cozy, clean and in a very beautiful secluded area. The owner of the home communicated extremely well and answered any questions or concerns that we had. Fortunately… We had no concerns at all. Had a wonderful time and would love to stay at this property again."

"If you're looking for the perfect getaway for a large group then BOOK THIS HOUSE!! There were 11 people in our group which included my 80 y/o mother and 99 y/o grandmother, having a kitchenette downstairs really helped them not have to climb the stairs for every meal but when they made it upstairs it was so nice for everyone to eat at the dining tables together - which we took advantage of every night! This house has everything you need and if there is anything else then I recommend checking out downtown Black Mountain!!Kelley was the absolute perfect host and was super responsive with any questions before and during our trip. I would 100% recommend booking this house!!!!"

"We used this property to host a staff retreat for four couples. It was well stocked, clean and perfect for our meetings and down time. It was found as advertised to offer a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and a quiet retreat. Plenty of space and very well kept."

"We loved staying at the knob for the weekend. My husband and I stayed here for the weekend after we dropped our daughter off at camp. It is a beautiful cabin and so private. We didn’t see another person or a car during our stay. It was also a quick drive from Asheville and Black Mountain. A great weekend away! We will be back because I missed seeing the bears!"

"We stayed here on a quick weekend getaway to the Asheville area. The property is located in the lower mountains directly off a main road, which can be a little tricky navigating, especially at night. The house is a little tight, but well-stocked, and the only minor issue is that the LVP flooring is separating in a few places. The views are spectacular and the peaceful mornings in nature were great. However, the house had not been cleaned when we arrived. We contacted the host who arranged for an immediate cleaning, but that forced us to wait for a few hours with our pets after a long drive to the area. While the host did give us a discount for the inconvenience, I can still only give it 4-stars."
