The Bungalow at Eagleville Lake Under 3 miles to UCONN!

UCONN parents take note; only 2.8 miles to the campus!

Spend some time at the newly renovated Bungalow, offering 2 queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa, state of the art kitchen and large open living area overlooking the lake. The Bungalow has a chef's dream of a kitchen, with it's soapstone countertop, generous spice selection, coffee bar, small appliance cabinet and griddle/gas range.

The large open space lends itself to enjoying friends and family, all overlooking the tranquil lake. Enjoy a drink on the deck, go for a hike/walk, or have a wonderful day of kayaking and/or paddleboarding. We offer two tandem kayaks, two single kayaks, and a tandem stand or sit paddleboard for your enjoyment. You can paddle for miles in the lake or up the Willimantic River. Keep an eye out for turtles! Bring a fishing pole and bait and reel in a large or small mouthed bass! (Fishing license required )

If fishing and kayaking are not your thing, we have tons of outdoor games. Cornhole, horseshoes, badminton, and volleyball, just to name a few! In addition, there are miles of walking trails starting right down the road.

Coventry is known for its antique shops and restaurants. Once you've shopped 'til you've dropped, head back to The Bungalow to enjoy the firepit. Share a few stories and a few drinks. Once you are ready for bed, you will be sleeping on hotel quality beds and linens.

Lisa has a well kept property. Great stay for families or couples. Many amenities both large and small at this house that make it feel like a home away from home. Great fire pit area and relaxing view of the make. Plenty of lawn games, outdoor activities, as well as indoor games provided. I Would recommend staying at this property.

East Coast bucket list

1st time to the upper East coast. We chose this house because it's so close to so many amazing cities. We loved the location and the day trips to New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

Bungalow Stay

The hostess, Lisa thought of everything for a comfortable inviting stay. The house was lovely! It is clean and nicely furnished. Everything is labeled and orderly. Lisa also offered ideas for places to visit in the area that were of interest and she also answered any questions we had in a timely manor. The view of the lake was very peaceful. We saw the swan and train! I would highly recommend the Bungalow. Lisa is a great hostess!

We had a lovely time there. The place was super well equipped with all the things you might need, beautifully maintained and peaceful. The access to the lake was great and we used the fire pit outside. Even though it was winter, it was a lovely view and great place to enjoy non screen time with family.

Beautiful lake house

This is our second time staying in this home. It’s nestled right on the lake and is perfect. It is stocked with everything you need, they did not skip a beat. Easy check in and check out process. Loved the gifts they left for us, always a nice touch.

WOW we had such an amazing weekend at the Bungalow; hiking, s’mores, kayaking, backyard games and good family time with our UCONN student. Lisa is a great host and the Bungalow was perfect for spending quality time with our Husky.

The home was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. We some how ran over a nail and our tire was losing air and the home even had an automatic air compressor. The property and home were so clean.

Wonderful, well appointed getaway

We had a very relaxing stay at the Bungalow. Communication with Lisa was perfect and we greatly enjoyed kayaking on the lake and sitting on the back deck in the evenings. The house decorations and lighting encourage relaxation and the beds are very comfortable. We definitely recommend the Bungalow at Eagleville Lake and look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful stay!!

We booked this for my son’s UConn graduation.My family of 4 stayed and it was perfect!! The Bungalow is clean and meticulously decorated! We felt so at home and it had everything we needed. All the nice touches like water and complimentary bag were very generous. I would definitely recommend to all!

Great place on the lake!

What a gem this cute house was on the lake! The owners didn’t skip a beat with the attention to detail. It had everything and was so clean. Communication was spot on. We will definitely book again the next time we come to CT! We already miss waking up with coffee and watching the sun come up over the lake.

Great Location

Beautiful 2br bungalow nestled beside Eagleville Lake. Wonderful hosts provide a cozy setting with everything you might need. Thoughtful decor with relaxation in mind. Especially enjoyed the lakeside fire pit and the dining table on the back deck. Hope we can return again soon!

What an amazing place and host!

This place was spotless, and the location and amenities can not be beat! Gorgeous water view, so many wonerful kitchen tools and access to a spectacular grill! So many fun outdoor games and "water vessels" to use. The host was SUPER responsive when we needed her. Thank you!

Definitely coming back.

Like the other reviewers, we were impressed by the decor and cleanliness of the bungalow. It was so relaxing and comfortable. It honestly felt like being at our own home. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is better so we can try out the kayaks. I’d even like to visit their Florida location. This is definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed.

Escape to a Lake

We stayed here for a long weekend with our UCONN student to give him a change of scenery and to spend some quality time with him. The Bungalow is conveniently close to campus, warmly decorated and has lots of activities to foster quality family time and memories. My son especially enjoyed adventuring out on the lake with the kayaks. There are also many hiking trails nearby that we enjoyed.
