Staff was friendly. Room was clean. The hotel itself, could use better upkeep. The furniture in the common areas can definitely use a good steam cleaning. The breakfast was disappointing to say the least. Overall, not a bad stay. It was ok for a one night getaway, but I won't be rushing back.

Good sized room, really comfy bed. So useful to have a fridge and coffee maker. Really good to have free coffee, water and juice from reception and sometimes there were even cookies and muffins. We asked for a late checkout at 2pm and this was agreed without issue and without any extra charge. Only issue we had was that the carpet was slightly damp on arrival. By time of departure 4 days later, the carpet was absolutely soaked through and smelly. My husband thinks there was a leak under the floorboards from the bathroom. In fairness to the hotel, I didn’t report this issue so they didn’t have a chance to respond or rectify it.

I only have two negatives about my stay, and that is, the room smelled rancid. As if it was moldy. Additionally, the bed was very uncomfortable. For the price, I would opt out of staying there again.

Nice location on the Upper West Side. "City view" really means looking into the office building across the street. Fire station directly across means frequent sirens. Room and. Bathroom have nice modern decor and very clean. No restaurant for a hot breakfast though the cafe has excellent pastries.

A very unique hotel with the extra touches that made the stay memorable. Great location also.
