Whidbey Island Vacation Getaway

This almost-new, northwest style vacation home is the perfect getaway. Located on a quiet cul de sac with a view of Admiralty Inlet and the Port Townsend ferry, it’s close to Fort Ebey and Fort Casey, and 11 minutes (7.4 miles) to historic, quaint downtown Coupeville.

Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in front of the cozy gas fireplace, or sit on the porch, where you can watch the eagles while gazing out at the shipping lanes of Admiralty Inlet, the Ebey Preserve, and the Olympic mountain range.

Master bedroom with super-comfortable King-sized bed. Master bath with double shower and walk-in closet.
Second bedroom has a twin bed and a set of bunk beds. Also available: Two twin size 4" foam sleep pads that can be used separately or together.
Second bathroom with tub and shower combination.
Clean linens, towels, toiletries, etc.

Our Whidbey Vacation Rental Home is located near the Navy Carrier Landing Practice Field. During your stay, you may experience one of their practice sessions --with Navy fighter jets flying low over the house as they approach the practice field. These last approximately two hours and generally occur in the late morning or late evening hours.
Disposable ear protectors and ear plugs are available for our guests to use if needed.
If the jets are flying during the late morning, use that time to visit one of the many local parks in the area -- or sit on the porch and enjoy the air show! Quote from a recent guest: "We especially LOVED watching the jets flying from Whidbey NAS!! It’s not something that you see everyday."

Great place

Everything about our stay was awesome. We loved how close the house was to the ferry and that we could see the sound from the front window. We enjoyed watching the different boats/freighters/cruise ship etc.The house suited our needs perfectly.My niece and I enjoyed taking a spin on the bikes.Susan always responded right away to any inquiry that I made.Highly recommend!

Gorgeous Views!

The house is even better in person! Very clean, large spaces. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and has a good shower. We loved watching the sunsets over the water and mountains. We'd stay again!

Fantastic VRBO

This place is pure relaxation. Susan the owner is a sweetheart and so responsive and welcoming. Super clean, beautiful views, comfortable beds, kids games and books the list goes on and on. We saw deer in the evening in the backyard and so very quiet and relaxing.

Can't beat the view

Great location!

This property is the perfect location for our family of 3 to stay while we’re in town visiting family and touring the island. I can’t think of a more peaceful place to unwind than Whidbey, there are several beaches on the island to explore and watch for wild life. One of our favorites is just down the road before you get to the ferry. After dinner we like to hang out and unwind watching the sunset from the living room.

Great Island Getaway

The property was clean and very functional for our family of 3. We come to the island to visit family and are familiar with the area. The home is close to the ferry to Port Townsend and has spectacular views from the living room and front bedroom. We will definitely be back.

We were fortunate to return for our third stay at this property. The location is convenient to all attractions on the islands. The house is well equipped and comfortable for us and our adult children for our three-week stay. The owners are responsive and always friendly when they are next door.
