Country Get Away Cabin In The East Texas Piney Woods

King Country Lake is located on a 10 acre lake with a 2000 sq ft cabin. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a loft playroom with twin beds.

We are located 13 miles east of Canton's World Famous Trade Days and just five minutes from the art community of Edom which offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Blue Moon Nursery is close, and Ben Wheeler is 10 miles west and has great food, music and dancing .

Tyler, which is near by, is the Rose Capital of the world. Caldwell Zoo is also located here along with the Historical Aviation Memorial Museum. Exciting NY TX Zip Line adventure is only a 30 min drive.

The cabin is a country retreat on 35 acres. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing and paddle boating on the property.

Family celebration

We loved the property and lake. Thank you for sharing it with us. We were able to enjoy a quiet weekend away and my son got to kayak around the lake-doing what he wanted for his 17th birthday.

Another wonderful stay here!

We have stayed here multiple times and love it! It’s so peaceful and a good time away with family. We get on the water, fish, bird watch, enjoy the back porch, walk the property, and end our nights playing games at the large dining table. This time we stayed longer and visited Mineola and Grand Saline. Great time! Also the property owners are helpful and communicate well.

Great Family Gathering place

A very peaceful retreat in the woods with a beautiful lake. We caught bass, and enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. It was very comfortable for the 6 of us.

Awesome Annual Friends Trip Location

This is our 3rd staying at Kings Country and we already can’t wait for our next annual trip! It’s beautiful, calm, quiet and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The owners are so nice as well! We did some fishing, swimming, played games and the house is absolutely perfect!

Best cabin getaway

This was the fourth year we have visited this cabin in the past 5 years and we will be back again next year! We always have the best time and the guys love getting to go fishing! My husband caught a 7.6lb bass this year and had a lot of activity! Thank you for having us again for another great year!

Canton TX shopping and Relaxing 😎

Spent three nights here so we could run to Canton for the flea market..this is a nice place.. beautiful interior.We fished a little off the pier and rode the paddle boat and canoe in the lake but the best part was drinking our coffee in the morning on the porch and watching the ducks and geese in the lake..This was a nice stay and the Cabin made it one of the best trips ever.. Really hope we can come back again!!!

Hidden Gem

Such a great hidden gem! Like others, online pictures do not sue it justice. Three bed rooms were large and comfortable but the master is massive! Nice are for kids to play and sleep in loft. Fishing, canoeing was a fav along with sitting in porch in rockers. We had a fire each night too! Great olace!

Canton Trade Days

We have stayed here twice before with the same friends. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place. Everything you need is provided. Be sure to stop in Canton to purchase groceries if you decide to cook while there. There are no grocery stores in the area other than a Dollar General and a Dollar Tree/Family Dollar. Just be prepared to enjoy your stay. You will want to stay longer.

Thanksgiving vacation with family

Wow what an Amazing place and that really doesn’t sum it up. The house was absolutely beautiful living room was nice and big open concept with kitchen and dinning room. Tv with all the channels you could ever want to watch. Kitchen was the most stocked pots, pans, utensils, bowls ,plates and everything else that you would need in a kitchen than any other VRBO that I have stayed at. You don’t need to bring any type of cooking or utensils to this place only your food and drinks because it has it all. Three bedrooms were great with three full bathrooms was so so nice. The master bedroom and bathroom you will just fall in love with, bedroom is huge and has three very large windows facing the pond what a view. The master bathroom was so nice and the shower is huge with three different shower heads. Upstairs loft with game and two twin beds were great for kids. Now if you think the house was great step outside to the backyard what a view. If you like to fish has little dock also has one canoe two paddle boats and two kayaks to either fish from or just paddle around and enjoy the lake I say lake because it’s bigger than your normal pond. Have plenty of grills outside games and chairs to sit in and relax or put around the great fire pit that is there. My wife and I have stay in a lot of VRBO and this one by far exceeded all of them. I want to thank the owners for sharing their home to my family and I. The memories of your place will always be remembered. highly recommend John

Property was perfect for my family who love all things outdoors. Kayaks, paddleboats, canoe, life jackets, and fishing equipment were all available for our use. House was lovely: clean, very comfortable and extremely well stocked. Enjoyed the spectacular views from the rocking chairs on the porch.

All we can say is WOW!!! The home is amazing. Beautiful inside and out. The place makes you feel like you are home. The seclusion on the lake is very relaxing. The kitchen had everything you could want. The main bedroom is a luxury. We can not say enough good things about the hosts Daniel and Jan. Made us feel welcome. We will stay here again and recommend to family and friends. If you want to get away from life’s stress and rush this is the place.
