Great stay. We had a snow day which we enjoyed by spending family time indoors. The area is gorgeous and the views spectacular. We enjoyed smores by the firepit and made some lovely meals together. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Thank you.
We stayed here over President's Day weekend with a group of 8 friends. It was wonderful waking up to breathtaking views each morning, going skiing at Monarch Mountain, and relaxing. We would highly recommend this beautiful house!
Our overall experience at this beautiful home was wonderful. We had enjoyed the scenic views from the back deck as well as the large kitchen and dining area. Check in process was good and the host are friendly and prompt.
We had an amazing time! 6 adults and 6 kids and we all loved it. We appreciated how well stocked the house was - from paper items to laundry soap to fire wood! The views were amazing, the kitchen was fun to cook in and the beds were very comfortable. Yes, the drive up the mountain takes a while but it’s so worth it! We went to Royal Gorge, went white water rafting, drove to Cripple Creek one day and soaked in the Mt Princeton Hot Springs another. It was a great place to vacation.
The house was awesome and the view is incredible. The owners were professional and communicated very well. We had no issues locating the property. Everything was clean and well kept. Would not hesitate to stay there again!
My husband and His wanted to get away for a few days for some much needed rest and relaxation. This cabin was perfect. Secluded with beautiful views in every direction. We loved it. Will probably come back with our kids and grandkids. It would be awesome if it had a hottub,
The views are indescribable, pictures cannot do them justice! The home is spacious and well stocked with everything you need. Beds are super comfy! We had plenty of space for our family of seven and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the firepit and exploring the beautiful surroundings. If you want to get away from it all for a few days, this is the one for you!
It’s hard to beat the views and the house was fantastic. Pro tip: don’t wear shoes in the house otherwise you’ll get shocked by everything you touch. It’s a good way to keep the floors clean lol
House was wonderful. Nice to have 3 king size beds and a bunk room. Kitchen was large and amply equipped. Powered blinds and good sunblocking blinds a definite plus. Fire pit was the best we ever had seen. Cabin is at 9200ft which gave us some awesome views. Except for.the steep winding dirt road to get there, it was perfect.
We have stayed in a bunch of VRBO’s, but this place takes 1st prize!
Perfect for our family/extended family get together.
I personally loved the winding, gravel road up to the top of this mountain from Cotopaxi. About 9500 ft above! I’ve already recommended it to several people back here in Mn. Thanks Ben…just an absolutely awesome place!!
Wonderful Wedding Weekend!! ! Beautiful views, beautiful home! So much space the for 10 of us!! Furnished with an all amenities we needed! Jacuzzi hot tub is indoors, not outside… Wonderfully large downstairs bathroom for 7 females to get ready for the WEDDING! Best weekend!!! Thank you sooo much
We are avid VRBO’ers and this is by far the most beautiful view we’ve ever had. The property is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked. Between the gorgeous views and Christmas Eve snow we felt like we were in a Hallmark Christmas movie! It’s conveniently located between Monarch Mountain and the Royal Gorge, both directions are gorgeous drives. Seriously enjoyed ourselves! My only complaint is that our pictures don’t do it justice!
We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home with family for Thanksgiving week. The accommodations, while depicted beautifully on-line, were even more stunning in person. The kitchen was well-appointed, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The decor of the home was terrific as well. We had breath-taking views from the house: the stars at night and the mountain range during the day, punctuated by a beautiful snowfall Thanksgiving evening that were all post-card perfect. The fly fishing just down the mountain on the Arkansas river was amazing. The hosts were gracious, and we look forward to another visit.
Our stay was lovely from start to finish. The house is spacious, the views are stunning, the kitchen is well equipped, and our hosts were communicative and kind.
I would highly recommend if you're looking for a mountain getaway. With that, do know it truly is a mountainous area. The road to the house is dirt and hilly, and (not surprisingly) snowy when it snows. The host kindly messaged prior to our stay to loop us in to road conditions, and we had no issues in all wheel drive and two wheel drive vehicles, but if you're not accustomed to snow it's worth noting.
Oh goodness! I almost forgot to mention the views. Sunset and sunrise from the primary suite and living/dining rooms are breathtaking. If you can, make time to be at the house for them at least one in your stay. You won't regret it.
We had an amazing time at this wonderful home. The views from the home are absolutely stellar. It is important to know that this home is a good 20 minute drive up a mountain, hard packed dirt road and off the beaten path. But after a fun day of biking, hiking, rafting, the extra drive up the mountain is definitely paid off with the views. The home is well stocked and they have exceptional WiFi and cellular access at the home, so that is never an issue. There was initially an issue with one of the showers, but the owners were immediately responsive, and had it fixed right away. The rooms were very comfortable. The kitchen is great. There are a ton of games for the kids to use. The only thing that may be nice is an extra tv in the downstairs living room so the kids can watch something in a separate room from the adults. But, to be honest, after renting many homes across the country, and dozens in Colorado alone, this home is near (if not at) the top of the list. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay there again.
We had incredible stay at the Blue Spruce Chateau nestled in the mountains. The views were absolutely breathtaking, waking up to the sunrise was unforgettable. The cabin were cozy, clean, and well stacked with everything we needed. It was secluded and peaceful yet still close enough to day trips and hike. Highly Recommended!
Absolutely gorgeous home. Amazing views. Beautiful kitchen with plenty of room. I think I spent 90% of my time in the kitchen. HUGE home, probably more than what we needed, but enjoyed all of it. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
We had an amazing stay! Perfect location, the house is gorgeous and the views are incredible! It was a short drive to a few towns to explore them too! We’d recommend this house for everyone! The hosts were great to work with.
