"Stresa is an enchanting enclave on Lago Maggiore. the hotel is modern, very nicely appointed. We had a balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool, bar, and incredible views of the lake and mountains round out what is a fabulous hotel. Oh, did I mention the spa. Everything you need to relax. It's hard to go wrong with any location in Stresa, it's such a small town. Nicely situated on the lake and easy access to the Boromean islands and Verbania, on the opposite side of the lake."

"This was the most beautiful hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy and Switzerland. While other hotels trend toward contemporary modern design, which is fine, the Hotel Dino provides the opposite. It was like the great grand hotels of the past. The decor is extremely upscale and beautifully put together utilizing wood paneling, tufted leather, art, crystal and silk. The location cannot be beat on the coast of Lake Maggiore. And the immaculate gardens and water features that surround this wonderful hotel give a sense is peace and beauty. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more days there. Visiting Baveno and staying at the magnificent hotel Dino is the one location we will return to in the future. "

"The whole stay was wonderful. Exceeded expectations in every way. Food was amazing quality & reasonably priced. Breakfast had everything you need and so fresh. Views and spa facilities were incredible. Couldn’t recommend enough. I am gluten free and only had to tell the restaurant once. The next day they remembered, freshly made gluten free bread every day. Gluten free nibbles with drinks. Perfect. Massive shout out and thank you to Luca P who made our last meal so special. Very attentive and attention to deal was second to none. Thank you Kurhaus for the most amazing stay. "

"This Hotel is a MUST to stay in.As you drive up you think you are in a time machine as you approach this gorgeous edifice from another century.Th...e rooms are spacious and you feel as if you are either in a castle or a museum. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Located only a short walk from the ferrys to the islands.breakfast was out of thos world.Fantastic choices everyday with spectacular service.This is the Hotel to choose if you are going to visit Lake Maggiore. "

"Our room overlooked the Lake...Room was wonderful with a great bathroom and extremely clean.Breakfast was plentiful with so many choices.Location was perfect as the Promenade was right across the street from the Hotel.Centrally located as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"Hotel Della torre was a pretty good spot. Semi ish far from downtown but I think all the hotels are. Good showers with good pressure. There was always hot water available. Wasn’t allowed to change to room temperature and it was kind of humid in the rooms. Balcony was a nice reprieve and allowed for some air flow. Took off a star cause we chose this hotel due to the hotel.com advertisement of airport shuttles and the hotel did not have airport shuttles."

"Hotel website is misleading since they indicate rooms have air conditioning however it’s only seasonal. Rooms very hot and can’t open the balcony door because it’s full of spiders at night and extremely noisy. Couldn’t sleep much at night."
