We have been fortunate to travel in many international locations but this was, by far, the best staff we have ever encountered. Yes, the hotel is amazing: It's brand new. It has a wonderful view and easy access to all of Cortina. All of the facilities -- including the spa -- are first rate. The room has everything a modern high-end hotel supports (including black out roller shades). But it was the staff. Yes, they were friendly and helpful but it was much more. Everyone quickly learned our names and easily engaged in daily conversation. The concierge team were spot on with all of their recommendations. Lastly, I left my phone in an uber which became a non-event thanks to the quick work to recover it by the front desk staff. I have always felt that no country is a welcoming to tourists as Italy. They are genuinely glad you have come to visit and it was on full display. Hats off to the entire team. Thanks for making this once in a lifetime trip so memorable.

I don’t want this to sound negative because our overall experience was nice. My only issue was that the staff hovered around too much. They were trying to be helpful, however it’s a fine line between helpfulness and annoyance. All coachable. .
