A place to stop between Cordoba and Lisbon

Superb family run hotel. With an excellent restaurant (a favourite amongst the locals which says a great deal). They went out of their way to prepare us food, out of hours and with special dietary needs. Location, excellent especially for those visiting the historic Christian and Jewish historic sites.

Mejor olvidar y nunca volver...

Nada más llegar no abrían la puerta, después de llamar por teléfono la dueña salió y nos comentó que no le había llegado la reserva. Pillamos una “oferta de última hora” y por eso, nos pusieron en una habitación en la guardilla, sin ventana, con un calor espantoso y con cuarto de baño compartido (cosa de la que la pagina no decía nada). Después de comentarlo con la dueña, nos llevó a una habitación más abajo y mucho mejor, ya que estaba la casa vacía y no había más huéspedes. Nos comentó que tenía que limpiar la habitación y decidimos mientras ir a tomar un café. Comentar que según las diferentes páginas de viajes que miramos, los servicios que ofrecía este alojamiento eran diferentes y muchos de ellos inexistentes, pone piscina y esta, aunque de esas que se montan, la cafetería/bar que ofrece no está, el parking no está, etc... Mientras tomamos café, decidimos que no era no lo que habíamos contratado ni lo que buscábamos y decidimos hablar con la dueña, para decirle que nos íbamos. No habíamos hecho uso del hotel y solo paso media hora, como la página nos había cobrado la habitación ya, sabíamos que perderíamos el dinero, pero sinceramente confiamos en el entendimiento de la dueña. Hablamos con ella y efectivamente así fue, nos comentó que no había devolución, aun así, lógicamente nos fuimos pues ni nos gustó, ni queríamos estar allí, sin los servicios ofrecidos, con calor y sin aire acondicionado La dueña fue legal, pero no fue nada honrada, que disfrute el dinero que gano.
