This old house, donated by the owner's paternal grandparents, has been meticulously restored preserving its original and authentic appearance wherever possible. The furnishings have been made by local craftsmen, also using recycled materials. The house dates back to the end of the 19th century and is part of a much larger structure, as can be seen from some rooms on the ground floor used as animal shelters and agricultural storage. The uniqueness of the house is certainly represented by the centuries-old pergola. The accommodation chosen by the great-grandfather to bury the pergola, which is in front of the house, makes it all the more precious as it goes up to the first floor to frame and shade the small balcony.
The terrace is equipped with garden furniture, parasol and outdoor shower. The property is fenced off.

Less than 2 km away from the village the guest can admire the rocky coastline of the last strip of the Adriatic Sea that offers ancient paths immersed in nature (TRATTURI) once used for salt harvesting. On the other hand, if you move 10 km away, you can enjoy the fabulous sandy beaches of the Ionian coast. The house is close to the provincial road that connects Tricase (5 km) to Santa Maria di Leuca (10 km) and a few steps away guests will find a bakery, wine shop, bar, fishmonger and greengrocer. A few metres away it is possible to buy groceries and fruit and vegetables, eat a pizza and enjoy excellent cakes and ice cream. During the summer, the most popular means of transport is the 'Salento by bus', which allows you to reach the various locations on the Ionian and Adriatic coasts.
