In the initial listing I was drawn to the "renovated" title of the listing. It was far from that. I do feel like it is a good location. But here are a list of my complaints:
1. 85 degrees in the unit when I arrived. Contacted property manager that the AC didn't seem to be working, she replied with "did you check the thermostat?" I felt stupid for even contacting her and afraid to continue to bother her about the non working AC in a heat wave until it was so unbearable. She finally came to fix the problem and was nice, but very short in get reply to me expressing discomfort. I got cool air by late night day 2 of my stay
2. Very run down kitchen cabinets, not clean, very old utensils, dirty glasses in the cabinet, used cooking sheet in oven, even old crusty food on pot holder
3. Although I appreciate there being shampoo and body was there, it would have been nice for the conditioner to be filled as well.
4. Expressed area in the celling where the celling tile was pushed away. I showed her, she didn't attempt to fix it.
5. You have to carry all of your stuffs up a flight of stairs.
6. On day 2,I returned totally confused because the front door had been painted green, when it was blue when I arrived. Mind you, I have only walked through that for 3 times at that point.
7. Spices for cooking were expired by years
8. The towels hanging on the rack smelled like mold, but all the others were fine
9. Bedding torn, even an any between comforter and sheets.
