I expected the rooms to be a lot nicer. But then again I’m noticing all the hotels I stayed at years ago are getting old and need to be renovated

This was my 4th stay at the Joule and while each stay has spanned across many years, I’ve always had a great experience which speaks to the Joule’s consistency. Highly recommend!

Nice decor. The gallery pool staff was rude. Guest couldn't ait around pool when hotel had a paid / bottle service event

The coffee shop was fire! The pool vibe was good. Our purple chair in our room had lots of stains and spots. This should be replaced. Pillow and bedding top notch!

It started off really rocky. The valet was anything but friendly, didn't ask for a lot of information when I left my vehicle and made me wonder if I would ever see it again. It was right at dark and the property didn't feel safe. Walking to the room, I was cat-called by numerous people at the pool, in the lobby and waiting for the elevator. The room itself was so pretty, and the view was amazing. That night, I did put my suitcase in front of the door. During the day, it was alot better, the valet was never great, but the day staff was much friendlier. Once everyone seemed to have left Sunday, the place and area felt alot safer. As far as the area, same thing, nighttime was a bit sketchy with alot of homeless people. All in all, I felt more secure the longer I stayed. But being a single mom with 2 kids, I probably would not book this spot again.
