Great Family Stay

Only issue with staying here was it wasn't long enough. Great location. Close to the beach. Loved the pool/splash pad as it gave an option for our little ones. Would definitely stay here again.

Great holiday time!

Wonderful family time together . Lots of space with 3 stories to spread out. 3rd floor large enough to accommodate everyone at once. Made for a Christmas to remember! Walking distance to beach for play and relaxation and even a cozy fire on the beach at night👍

Nice property!

We were in town for my son's winging, so we did a lot of driving between Corpus Christi and Kingsville, which meant we weren't able to spend as much time at the property as we would have liked to. We had 10 members of my family and there was more than enough room for all of us. The property was very clean, there is a nice view from the upper levels, good location near the beach. We would stay again.

Wonderful family memories

Absolutely great family vacation. First time with entire group includes 3 children 2 and under. Only critisium of beach house was that the kitchen was on the 3rd floor. Lots of up and down for us older folks but overall stay was totally worth it. Great location to beach. Within a 5 minute walk. Great splashpad and pool for kids.

Daughters 21st bday

It was a very clean house. We definitely enjoyed staying there. We didn’t realize the kitchen was at the top floor until we got there. I’m sure it’s in the description, but I must’ve looked over that. It was very close to the beach. It was very quiet. The neighbors were very nice.! My daughter enjoyed her birthday and we enjoy celebrating it with her. Unfortunately, I left my games there in the game room, but it’s OK. I hope other families can enjoy them.!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We loved our stay for our yearly family vacation. The property management was very easy to get ahold of. One thing was that our check-in time was 4p but we couldn’t enter until 4:20p because they were fixing some things in the house. Not really a big deal. The house was great and we had plenty of room for all 15 of us. The kitchen on the 3rd floor was a little off setting due to we had to hoof a weeks worth of groceries for 15 up the stairs, but the kids helped so we got it done. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. All in all we had a very good time 😊

Hammonds reef

The front door lock didn’t work the first day and we had to call twice to get it fixed. There were roaches in the bottom floor and the lay out of the house was very inconvenient with the kitchen and living in the top floor and the kids room in the room with the front door. The living area need some sort of noise abatement, it is very echoey. The listing said the pool is heated but it definitely was not heated and the supplies for the kitchen were in adequate for a large group staying multiple days. The space in the home and location was great and The kids loved the pirate ship playground.

Good location

Great location and lots of room. Biggest issue is the kitchen and living room are on the 3rd floor, away from the backyard (only an issue because we had a dog with us, so constantly going up and down the stairs to let them out). I think that was in the listing but we missed it (our fault). The kitchen was missing a few things such as hot pads to grab hot things out of the oven (we had to use a towel). And very limited dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and paper products for a 5 day stay (when the property emails you before the trip saying to bring your own stuff, they mean it!). I'd recommend bringing more kitchen towels too, as they provided 2 and you go through them quickly.WiFi worked great, lots of TV's with access to Netflix and Disney was great! Very easy walk to the beach (also easy to drive if you need to bring more stuff). Easy check in and check out process.

Birthday Bash

9 of us had a wonderful time together celebrating family birthdays. Each family had their own floor for sleeping. There were several issues with the house. The pocket door to one of the bathrooms would not close and the exterior doors were hard to open and close. The electric plugs on the kitchen bar did not work and the big kitchen clock needed a battery. We were disappointed that we were not informed that the pool was closed since that was a selling point to us because of the kids. The QR code on the frig we were to scan to learn more about the property did not work. Overall we had a great stay and the location was perfect for a great beach vacation.

Beaches

We took our extended family on vacation, ages 6 to 62. We had a great time. We found that the beach was a 10 minute walk away. We couldn't get the televisions to work in any of the bedrooms so the kids actually gathered on the main floor with us! We usually have to force them away from their games & such. It was a wonderful experience. We ordered groceries for delivery. Our extensive order was there in a couple of hours so that was a bonus. There's enough room for 18 people. We're thinking of bringing more folks down in the future.

Great Location, Beautiful Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this location due to its ability to sleep our whole family while we were in town for my mother’s funeral. The location was ideal. With its proximity to the beach, we could easily take a break and relax when needed. Only a couple of suggestions for improvement. The water pressure in the upstairs sinks is very low. Also the pots in the cabinet had to be rewashed. The detergent dispenser in the dishwasher didn’t open, so that is probably the cause - they were likely put away by the cleaning staff directly from the dishwasher and they didn’t realize they were not clean. We had a minor issue with a slow draining shower, but the maintenance team responded quickly and repaired it for us. Thank you for providing our family a peaceful, comfortable place to gather.

Great location, not the best stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at 3:20pm we reached out and asked if early check in was 3:30 two maintenance men enter the property and come back out and let us know that the AC downstairs was not working but they could probably let us in and they would bring in a portable AC. I received a reply stating they were still checking on property and we would not be able to enter until 4pm. We enter at 4pm and a few min later the mainenance comes back with portable ac. At night the AC only cooled down one of the rooms downstairs the other was hot and humid, our bathtub on the 2nd floor was also not draining, i messaged property but received no response. It was late so I left it for the next day. The following morning I reached out again and let them know that tub had not drained overnight. They responded that the AC techs will be out at noon and asked if the tub had yet drained if they needed to send someone out. We dealt with AC techs installing a new ac and causing fire alarms to go off, bathtubs and sinks not draining. My family member sat on an outside chair and the leg gave out. Upkeep of this place is not the best. Enjoyed the location.
