This was a nice little get away. The condo was nice. It was clean well decorated and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool as well. The staff was nice and everything was easy.

Wonderful small town on the coast

Perfect spot for vacation! If you love smaller towns, you'll love this area! Great art district, close to back with shadow water, and wishing shops. Awesome host! If you plan to do your own cooking, bring spices.

I was able to snag this condo at a very affordable price compared to options in Port Aransas, which was a great start to our trip. When we first arrived, I was a bit hesitant because the exterior of the property looked older and in need of a facelift. I initially worried that the room might reflect the same condition.However, as soon as we walked inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The unit was very well maintained, and everything looked clean and updated. The furniture and appliances appeared almost brand new, and the pantry and drawers were thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials. I especially loved the electric griddle that was provided—I used it to make hamburgers out on the patio while enjoying the beautiful bay views.I truly can’t say enough about the customer service. The staff was incredibly responsive to any questions I had, and when we encountered a minor issue upon arrival, it was resolved immediately and professionally.The lobby was clean and welcoming, and the grounds were well kept, with freshly manicured lawns throughout the property. The front desk staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The view from the pier was absolutely stunning and definitely a highlight of our stay.Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly stay here again.

Perfect place for a couple!

This condo was the best we've ever booked. It was super clean and had everything we needed but was not cluttered. The location was perfect, the view from the balcony magnificent, and the pool very nice. The property was quiet during our stay and the staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. Could not have asked for anything more. We will definitely be back!

Relaxation and fun in Rockport

Our stay at Hootie and The Redfish was very enjoyable. The condo was clean, nicely stocked with snacks and coffee, and a real pleasure to stay at. A big plus was the wonderful patio view into the bay and having a coffee in the morning watching the sunrise. The pool and hot tub were clean and not too busy. Shopping is a short five minute drive away with multiple shops and friendly people. A very peaceful and relaxing trip and we would definitely recommend.

Fabulous view and clean and quiet property. Staff and the other guests were super friendly. Hot tub was very warm and relaxing though wish it was open later than 8:00 pm. Loved all the spices provided for cooking, but there was no salt or pepper?? We loaded the dishwasher before leaving, but my friend forgot to turn it on. We apologize for that. Would stay here again in a minute!

GREAT BAYSIDE CONDO

What a perfect place to relax and get some fishing in. The condo was as advertised with a great location and private pier. I go to the coast every year to relax after a hard month of work. This condo was the perfect place! It is clean and modern with all that you need for relaxation. It's great for the a couple or a single looking to get away. I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Great place for a getaway. Pretty quiet. Would have liked the hot tub to stay open longer closes at 8:00 p.m. Pier was nice for fishing. Needs the railing completed. Kids and elderly could lose their balance in the wind and fall off it. Overall good place.

Exceptional condo and views

We enjoyed our stay at Hootie and the Redfish so much! Views of the water were amazing. Finishes of the decor were high end. Would definitely return. The only cons: only 3 towels and 2 rags provided for 4 night stay, one was dirty although folded up. So, bring extra towels./rags. Also, the bedroom was a bit warm at 70. Would be nice if there was a separate window unit for the bedroom as the A/C doesn’t reach to bedroom well.

A little fishing trip.

We really enjoyed staying in this condo. It is close to town but not so close that one would have to deal with traffic noise. The private pier is a plus. It’s still under construction, but complete enough to use. Communication with management was good when I called them. However, I sent a message through the VRBO website on a Friday and did not ever hear back from that message before we left. It wasn’t critical, but would have been nice to have received a reply. Overall we enjoyed our week there and will check its availability on another trip.

Cozy with a view

Perfect cozy condo, with a private pier. We just walked downstairs and out onto the pier and fished to our heart’s desire. We caught several redfish right from the pier (buy the small mullet bait from Mom’s bait shop in town and cut it into threes) and my husband caught two large redfish: 21 inches! The size of the condo was perfect for us two, but a small family would do well here too. The TV and easychair + couch made for cozy movie nights. The king size bed was wonderful. I loved coffee on the balcony watching the birds fly past. One morning a flamingo flew past…not native to Texas, but pretty cool! The condo was nice and quiet and restful. I enjoyed the site’s hot tub, which was big, clean and nice and toasty. The pool was clean, but since it’s December, too cold for swimming right now. I walked into town from the condo, and the walk was easy and very pleasant. All in all, a relaxing and very quiet stay.

Hootie and The Redfish

The location was beautiful, safe and peaceful. The building and room was as described in the advertisements. I had some questions which I sent by text and were answered in a timely and polite manner. The condo was as advertised, it was clean, homey and easy to be in. The offerings of Rockport, Texas such as shops and restaurants were easy to access from the condo. The bay was easy to access as well.
