Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We escaped the frigid Ohio winter weather and spent it enjoying Corpus Christi. Our condo at Palm Bay Village was everything we hoped for. It has literally anything you could think of or need. We like to cook and they have every utensils and cookware conceivable. There are also gas grills throughout the complex that are free to use. Everyone was friendly and polite. The pool is right outside the awesome patio. The condo is open and spacious. The beach is right down the street. Only about a 10 minute walk. If you want to park on the beach, be sure to stop at the Stripes station across the street from the condo to buy a parking pass ($12).

Excellent condo near beach

An absolutely stunning condo that was very clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed. Just a two minute ride to the beach in the property had a great pool with barbecue Grills nearby. Unfortunately the pool was so dirty we didn’t go in….looked like no one cleans it and it was like that Thursday through Sunday. Otherwise, the property was excellent and we’d return once more to see if the pool issue was a fluke. Definitely a stunning condo though.

Reviewer Comments: We try to grab a Palm Bay condo every year we come to Padre - they have the best pool for the days or hours when the waves or weather are too rough for the beach. Best pool we've found in the area hands down with great plants too. A 90 second drive to the beach.We love this unit's 2 car garage and best patio view of the hummingbirds in the morning. Has all the kitchen appliances you will need. Clean and comfortable. My kids love that the bedrooms are upstairs.

Pool security and pool grado

We love staying here, is our second time, location is convenient and we have pool access from rm. This time there was a security guard doing rounds, which is great. There was a younger guy the first couple of days. But the 3rd day was a different security guard and he didn’t understand the meaning of diving, he told us kids couldn’t jump into the pool, they weren’t diving!! Families were living the pool for this reason, kind of intimidating to have someone calling you off when you are doing nothing wrong. Also the grado wasn’t working nor the other water features, not sure why they get turned off early, if most people are the pool in the afternoon. We saw they were working in the morning, but when would get there around 6p they would be off. Thanks

Nearly perfect place for my small family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect condo for my family of three on our first vacation to Corpus Christi/Padre Island. We chose this location because it is just a couple minutes drive to the beach and had an incredible pool. Overall, a few things could have made our stay more pleasant though.PROS: close drive to beach, awesome pool, garage with the unit, well stocked kitchen tools, nice/updated place with fairly comfortable beds, super helpful management to assist with check in and check out, the condo itself was immaculately clean.CONS: the biggest downside was the state of the pool (we were there for 4 days and it was never cleaned, gross piles of sand/dirt collected all on the bottom with constant debris floating around, and I never saw anyone there for maintenance. It was a disappointment for sure), our AC also couldn’t keep up with the July heat and remained near 80 degrees regardless of setting (the unit could use some room darkening curtains to help keep cool during day during summer months), and some of the furniture (couches) were pretty wore out/damaged but still comfortable for the small amount of time we were inside. OVERALL: We would love to stay here again because of the many perks and how well it worked for my family. But the cleanliness of the pool might make me hesitate. And I would need to pack some fans for a mid-summer trip if the AC isn’t able to keep up. I hope it was a fluke instance for both because everything else made for a perfect family trip.

Yes the beds aren’t the best but what come to lay out on the beach not the beds. This place did have a recliner that was awesome. Kids loved their room with its own shower/restroom.The downstairs restroom was hot and felt no air in it so we just closed the door and went upstairs.

It had everything we needed and extra beach supplies to take to the beach! Our minivan and golf cart fit perfectly in the garage! We were able to drive to and from the beach in our golf cart which was really fun! We have stayed at several places on Padre Island and this place has the best pool! We loved that this condo was facing the pool and has gas grills near the condo! Check in and check out is so easy it’s sent to you and you do it all on your phone! Oh and there’s a Stripes store a few steps away! Loved our stay! We’ll definitely be back!❤️
