We stayed here for the weekend since our son had a baseball tournament in Portland. The check in process was good. Our room was decent. The room was clean but a bit run down. Tiles on the floor in bathroom was broken and lifting.

I had pleasant days…even though we didn’t stay long at the hotel most of the time we traveled around the city and exploring places… the hotel room is clean and they’re short staffed so the service wasn’t as fast as it should be…overall it’s a pleasant stays…4/5

Great stay. Didnt care for the covid era sack breakfast when other hotels have a full buffet breakfast. A few cosmetic maintenance issues around the room. Liked the storage and counter space in the room. Walking distance to restaurants.

If staying a few days and need a suite. This hotel is perfect. It was oversized for us because we ended up coming by ourselves and probably should have downsized the room. But we stayed in room with Kingsize bed and sofa suite. Very nice accommodations. Portland is centrally based and perfect spot to stay as far as location with Corpus to the right and Port A to the left. This hotel has a convenience store directly in front, easy to walk too and safe. If you have a hankering for chinese sushi hibachi, literally can walk to it... the menu had affordable pricing and opened late. Steakhouse right across walking distance and the movies just down the street. Now just be aware of noise. We stayed in 312 which faced the street and oh wow Portland was really happening past midnight with the sounds of trucks and motorcycles up and down street. So slightly noisy but we were ok with it. This hotel had full breakfast. I love that checkout was at 12. Way better! As soon as sou step out of elevator the pool was to your left and gym to the right. The front lobby very beautiful and staff is awesome. Did go swimming in pool and it was a little "muggy" looking, not clear but they literally had dozens of families the day b4 so i get ir. The water was warm which i liked, not freezing. Now it is literally outside of the washroom and so be aware you will smell when they are washing towels etc due to the vent facing the pool. Other than that it was fine. So in my book this hotel is a keeper!

First, the customer service was fantastic. Every staff member was, at minimum, friendly and helpful, but most went above and beyond. The condition of the hotel was okay. It appears to be an older hotel with some wear and tear in the rooms. Most of the wear appears in the bathrooms, but nothing that ruined the stay. It was small things like ripple in wallpaper and the bathroom lock being faulty. There was a continental breakfast, but it was quite up to the standards of other Home2 Suites we've stayed at. This appears to be because it's a smaller space than other locations. The food was decent for a continental breakfast, for the most part. The breakfast sandwiches were mostly pretty good, unless you got one that had been in the heated case for awhile, in which case they were dry and hard. However, the staff did refill the case with fresh sandwiches. There is one waffle iron (most of the hotels usually have between 2 - 4). They also offered cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, milk, breads for toasting, and muffins. We didn't use any of the onsite amenities, but they do have a pool, gym, and laundry room that we were told is free to use. The location was acceptable, but currently there is a lot of highway construction going on in the area, which had us a little confused since some exits are closed for repairs. Overall, I wouldn't object to staying at this location again.
