Welcome to the iconic Double Barr Cottages! Double Barr has been a favourite of Port A visitors for generations and is perfect for a quick beach getaway, a fishing trip, or family fun. Located just a couple of blocks from the beach in the "golf cart zone", you can walk, bike, or take a cart to the beach, fishing, or the many shops, restaurants, and other attractions city centre. The property has free parking, outdoor dining areas, and gas BBQ grills. An on-site laundry is available for a small fee.

Cottage  #15- Totally Beachin'- is a 3 bedroom/2 bath manufactured home on the Double Barr property.  The house features a large living/dining area, a full kitchen, and plenty of parking. A smart television with streaming channels and wireless internet are included with your stay.  The beachy decor will welcome you to our island.

Entering into the home you'll find a large living area with a sofa and futon couch suitable for 2 small children or 1 adult. It flows into a dining area and large kitchen. The kitchen features a gas stove, full size fridge, and microwave. It is stocked with pots, pans, and dining ware to cook a meal for yourself at home.

The first bedroom has a king bed and a set of bunk beds.  There is also a large closet for storage.  This bedroom also has an attached full bath with a large, walk-in shower.  On the other side of the house, there are two additional bedrooms that share another full bath.  The first has a queen bed and the second has two set of bunks.
There is parking for two vehicles next to the house. There is overflow parking available for oversize vehicles, boat caravans, or extra vehicles. Please enquire about availability of additional parking.

The house has central air conditioning and gas heat. Guests can use the outdoor picnic areas and gas BBQ grills. The guest laundry with 2 sets of washing machine/dryers is available for an additional fee.

Double Barr Cottages is dog-friendly subject to weight and breed limitations. We welcome well-behaved, adult dogs and ask that you clean up after them outside and kennel them if left alone in the cabin for an extended period. There is a pet cleaning fee of $75 per pet per stay. If you plan on bringing a dog, please let us know the weight and breed so we can pre-approve their stay with you.
