A Change In Latitude GC1009 is a spacious 3 bedroom condo is located on the first floor of Grand Caribbean Condominiums. The condo offers a private, covered balcony. This unit features a King bed in the primary bedroom, a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a Twin over Full bunk in the 3rd bedroom. The primary bedroom features its own bathroom and separate access to the oceanfront balcony. The ample equipped kitchen opens up into the dining and living area, providing an open concept layout perfect for beachfront gatherings. Grand Caribbean offers a beautiful community swimming pool and a community boardwalk for easy access to the beach. Parking for 2, permit required. Sorry, no pets, golf carts or views.

Perfect for a girls getaway.

We loved the condo. It had everything we needed and was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and also being able to swim in the pool in the evening. Perfect for our weekend getaway!

Beautiful Spacious Home

The online photos of the home were beautiful. When we arrived, it was exactly as it was in the photos, perfect! We really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. The home was well equipped so we didn’t need anything except our food. It’s about 10 minutes to town with a number of great restaurants.

Great Location

My husband & kids stayed here to celebrate my 20 year old son’s birthday. This place was the perfect size for our family of 5 & it is really beautiful. The location was great! We walked to the beach from the board walk. It was close to the local restaurants. We had a nice, relaxing time!

Great for our young family

The condo was nicely updated and looked exactly like the pictures, exactly as advertised. We had plenty of room for our family of four and our daughters loved the bunk beds. The beach was also very nice and just a short walk down the property boardwalk. Great location between the two Cinnamon Shore properties but much quieter than those, which was nice. Only ten minutes into town of Port A and about 20-40 minutes to different parts of corpus. Will definitely stay here again.

Great family spot - especially with little kids

Very happy with our stay at Changes in Latitudes. The condo interior was very nice and clean. Each of the three bedrooms had their own bath (awesome when you are at the beach and everyone takes 3 showers a day), and, as anyone with a 1 to 3 year old in tow will appreciate...NO STAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!Easy access to the beach, and the property management company made check-in and check-out very easy. Plenty of plates, utensils, cups bowls and cookware. If you want to do more than a couple loads of laundry or dishes, BYO stuff. Same goes for aluminum foil, coffee filters, etc. In terms of things that were "fine" (but still perfectly reasonable for the cost), master bed was ok, but if you are picky, might want to BYO sheets/blankets. Exterior building of the Grand Carribean is a bit dated. Pool is ok. Wifi/cell is spotty (especially Verizon. T mobile and AT&T were a little better). Bottom line, would I stay there again - absolutely!

However, we asked and were told (via email and text) before arrival we would have 3 parking passes. Three couples that live in 3 different cities/states, with three different cars need 3 passes. Upon arrival we only had two passes. Called management company (the woman we spoke too WAS NOT very nice) and she blamed it on the Condos HOA and said we could park one of our vehicles in their UNSECURED parking lot away from where we were staying. It was very worrisome. Other than the worry of our car being safe, the unit was great!

Excellent family stay

We ran to the water for a few days with our teens and parents over spring break and this was the perfect location. This condo is just south of Port A proper but the drive in for dining and shopping is quick and pleasant. Far enough away to not be inundated with the spring break crowd or have to fight for beach space. The direct boardwalk access to the beach made it easy to get back and forth and really enjoy our days out by the water.

Unfortunately would not stay here again because for some reason they do not allow golf carts. Management will tell you it’s because there’s no path to the beach. But there is, literally right there!! It belongs to beach cottages but they’ve given Grand Caribbean access. Such a shame!

Very cute and good location

This condo is cute and has easy access to the beach. It was clean with comfy beds. We loved that there were beach toys, chairs, and a beach cart to make taking everything to the beach easy. It was roomy with a nice pool for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked with what you need to cook during your stay. The only small downside was all the chargers seemed to charge super slowly. A tablet left charging overnight was only at 60% by morning. There weren’t enough towels for a family 5 which made washing daily a necessity. There was black stuff (assuming tar) in the dryer which did get all over the clothes we put in. Overall truly loved this property and would recommend!
