Outside, enjoy a spacious yard with a fire pit, outdoor shower, and hammock, plus a covered outdoor living area under the house featuring a hot tub, tabletop fire pit, grill, and a 4-in-1 game table with pool, table tennis, foosball, and air hockey. Unwind on the sun deck’s rocking chairs or relax after a beach day in one of the many outdoor spaces. The famous wild horses frequently roam the yard and surrounding areas, offering a truly unique Outer Banks experience. Inside, you’ll find a full kitchen and washer/dryer for added convenience. We had a great stay at The Salty Dog. The space was very clean and well-kept, which made it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. Communication with the host was excellent—quick, clear, and helpful throughout our stay.One of the highlights was the location. It’s back in a quiet wooded area and just a short, easy walk to the beach, which made our trip even more relaxing and convenient.It had all the amenities anyone could ask for. Even for our K9. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. We’d definitely come back again.
