What a CRAZY week of weather we had that week! It was unusual to have four straight days of 40mph wind!! But you were in the right house to "weather the storm"! ;-) There are so many ways to entertain yourselves at Sands of Time. Hope you will come back and bring the sunshine with you!!

We are so glad you were able to gather all of your family at Sands of Time. What a great place to gather!! Carova is really the best place for bringing someone who can no longer navigate walking on sand. Being able to drive out to the beach and park your car is the best way to keep the beach accessible for EVERYONE, including those who have given up ever getting to the ocean again. What a gift to be able to offer a beach to someone who thought they may never see it again!! :-)

Gadgets galore! ;-) If you were ever concerned about not having enough to do while on vacation, this is the house for you!! There are so many ways to be entertained, even if you don't consider the pool table, TWO arcade games, ping pong, and some very cool unadvertised additions to the beach fun. You won't want to leave the beach but if you have a rain day, the choices are endless!! The game closet is filled with all kinds of excellent games, some classics and then NEW ones that will entice you to explore. There is a nice gaming table just off the dining area for any of the games or puzzles! Tournament anyone? :-)

We try so hard to not have things go wrong on people's vacation. So glad we got that one resolved quickly. And thanks for being so super about it. I hope you all will come again. NEW AC so we have at least 5 years of uninterrupted service on that! ;-)

The horses sure are interesting to watch. I never tire of seeing them in their natural state, with no human intervention. The foals are so sweet this year! :-)

It is so sad when the sun doesn't shine on your vacation. :-/ But if you have to be inside, SANDS OF TIME is the place to be! There are so many ways to play indoors! It is a testament to the house that there was something for all the kids to do during that tropical storm. And that glimmer of sun at the end of the week... a precious gift. We'd love to have you return and try again!

THANKS so much for your wonderful review. You are so right about all of the amenities offered in this home. EVERYTHING you could think of is here! I understand about the disposal!! The rules about them are not very straightforward here since all of the houses are on well and septic. I guess it is a questionable practice to add food waste to the septic systems. But if that is the worst of it, then we have succeeded. :-)
