If your vacation dreams include an updated cozy oceanfront home where you can relax and enjoy the ocean from the many decks or inside in the ac, you won't be disappointed by this 3 bedroom gem! Private walkway to the beach leads you right to the ocean!

The updated kitchen is open to the living and dining areas, and the bedrooms are large and bright. There are 3 bedrooms: two with Queen beds, and one pyramid bunk room with 2 singles.

Mid Level: Entry, Great Room w/Deck Access & Flat Screen TV, Kitchen, Dining Area, Bedroom w/Queen, Semi-Private Bath w/Tub/Shower Combo, Laundry Area.

Upper Level: Bedroom w/Queen w/Private Balcony, Bedroom w/2 Twins & Pyramid Bunk Set, Hall Bath w/Shower, Sitting Area w/Desk & Chair is Open to Below.

Beach Parking: Parking passes are REQUIRED on Currituck County beaches between April 30 and October 1. This home provides two 4x4 beach parking permits.

Memorial Day Weekend Stay

-The house was not cleaned at all before our arrival: dirty sheets, hair, tooth brush spit on mirrors. etc. however, it is in a beautiful spot and property managing company was responsive. While they were responsive we are still waiting on them to remedy their mistake as we paid for clean linens and cleaning fee.

Happy with my stay

The place was as advertised. There was one lamp in the living room that's cord ran under a chair to a socket. The socket didn't work, so i rerouted to a hallway socket at night. Everything else worked perfectly fine. The beach was spacious and the house was nice.

growing pains

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: new listing.hot tub not available,fireplace but no wood, no king bed as listed, no railing on steep stairs to bedrooms, ice maker broke flooding fridge and kitchen floor, cant get over dune to beach,tv cant access good channels without code, dining chair broken, furniture worn. HOWEVER, minor tweaks and this is a gem. we were first guests so growing pains to address. Perfect for small families with pets, close to beach. Needs stairs over dunes and perfect bowl atop dunes for a gazebo to really enhance property. Gate top back stairs to control kids and dogs due to lots of horse traffic/access if not watched closely. King bed in top BR would be great. Would love to go back again and help solve some of these minor issues to make this a real gem.

Great Property with Potential - Needs Work!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives: Check-in/out process, location, STUNNING views, private dock to the beach, spaciousness, comfortable beds Areas for improvement: This is a new rental that definitely needs some attention. It was worth the off season price we paid, but definitely not worth the seasonal prices listed, without addressing some issues. 1. Overall the home was clean, but definitely needs a deep clean. Lots of cobwebs all over the walls, ceilings, light fixtures, windows, baseboards very dusty. A can of paint would go a long way on the flat scuffed up walls. 2. Outside had trash and cans in the bushes around the house, a pile of roof shingles on the deck, broken toys and rusted chairs left for "use". 3. Jacuzzi (new) area very dangerous. There is not a light (so pitch black at night), no steps to get in/out (very dangerous for someone with mobility issues or short legs), about a foot wide of spacing surrounding the tub making it very hard to walk around and put the cover on, dangerous if you slip off the edge, decking boards with unusual large spacing allowing for feet to slip in and trip. 4. Starter amenities such as a roll of toilet paper, roll paper towels, garbage bags, not provided as stated. 5. Screen door on sliding glass door had no screen in it and one sliding glass door was inoperable 6. Private balcony off mater bedroom on third floor is structurally not the safest, especially with children around. Nails rusted out and boards barely attached, very wiggly.
