Looking for a pet-friendly Corolla vacation rental? Look no further than The BARNacle! This custom built and impeccably maintained oceanside vacation home, located in the popular Ocean Sands community of Corolla on a quiet cul-de-sac, boasts views of the Atlantic Ocean and is a short walk to the beach on a nearby sandy path. North and East open spaces provide privacy.

The upper level offers a spacious great room with tons of natural light, beautiful ocean views, built-in shelving, and ample seating for relaxing with family and friends (please note - fireplace not for guest use). The well stocked kitchen highlights a desirable layout with a pantry, island, dining seating for thirteen, and access to the screened porch that leads to the rooftop deck to experience spectacular sunrises and sunsets! Also included on this level are a master king bedroom with a private balcony overlooking open space, a powder room, and an east facing deck to soak up the salt air and ocean breezes.

The mid level has two covered decks, a large den, a master bedroom with king, a master bedroom with queen, and a bedroom with two twins.

The well appointed lower level will entertain your family with a huge game room with pool table, game table, and wet bar with full size refrigerator. Sleeping accommodations include a king bedroom, bedroom with two bunk sets, full hall bath, and laundry area. Access to the pool area.

The fun continues outside with a private saltwater pool and hot tub. An outside shower washes away the salt and sand and two grills provided for cooking those amazing summer meals.

Enjoy the wide sandy beaches of Corolla and delight in the convenience of local shops, restaurants and attractions just a short walk or bike ride away on the multi-use paths!

OBX Beach House

Nice place, lots of privacy for family members, short walk to beach, convenient shopping with good prices. The only thing disappointing was kitchen cutlery and pots/pans. With kids you are always making chicken nuggets and fast food type items so the kitchen could use an air fryer!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have never stayed on the Corolla are of OBX. We found the community and area to be great. Rental house was located 300 feet from the beach backing the access area. It was quiet and we could see and hear the ocean.The house had lots of great decks and a wonderful pool. The rugs need a good cleaning or replacement.The kitchen had lots of low quality pots and pans- not great if you like to cook. Rooms were a great size and most beds were very comfortable. Beach Realty was very responsive when the outside gas grill did not work.They replaced within a day! It was great for a family with a dog!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is amazing. Tons of space, clean, neat, beautifully decorated and relaxing. The beach is a short walk down an easy path. Grocery stores and shopping less than a mile away. Pool and hot tub were clean. Pool table was an added plus but I would say bring your own cue sticks, the ones there have definitely seen some play time. I will definitely be back to this house or any other in the area. The Beach Realty company was so attentive. Only had to reach out a couple times with simple questions and they were quick with their replies. Had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. Tons of dishes and cookware. Love love love this place!!

Great House

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great--it was pre-season and cold for part of our stay but that's when the kids had spring break. I knew the pool would not be ready but the description clearly indicated that there was a hot tub and grill, neither of which were ready/usable when we arrived. We called about the hot tub the first day of our stay and the tech was there the next morning. Two days later, it was warm enough to sit in so although they responded quickly, we still had half the week with no hot tub. Previous stays the grill was always ready to go but this time the propane tank was empty. The person we spoke with at the rental company apologized and said that "they didn't know the tank was empty." Er. Isn't that the job of the rental company? We took it to the gas station and filled it ourselves, delaying dinner about 3 hours. Beach Realty did reimburse me for the cost of the gas. Otherwise, the house was great. Note: if you plan on cooking (I'm a foodie and a baker/cook) this house didn't have basics like measuring spoons and measuring cups (there was one 1/2 cup plastic cup in a drawer I finally unearthed). If you're gonna grill (and the tank is full lol) this house is EXTREMELY well outfitted. All in all, super enjoyed the house and the stay. Its a great location and clean, bonus the new and uber comfy sectional. I'm saving to buy one just like it.
