Severe health and hygiene issues - confirmed bedbugs. We experienced a severe hygiene issue during our stay at this property. Within the first 48 hours, my husband began developing severe bite marks. We notified the front desk immediately to request a deep clean and fresh bedding, but the issue was dismissed as local outdoor bug bites. Despite thoroughly checking the room initially and finding nothing, we later discovered a dead bedbug under the covers. We have photographic documentation of both the insect and the daily bite patterns. Other guests have noted similar experiences in past reviews. Travelers should exercise caution when booking this location.

Premium location and staff. Hope to return.

We stayed in a swim-up bungalow. The room itself was a good size, and check-in was a nice touch with welcome prosecco and a complimentary bottle waiting in the room. The TV was not a smart TV, but the staff did provide an HDMI cable so we could stream our own content. Unfortunately, there were several shortcomings. The room had no hooks to hang towels, very little storage for clothes, and minimal counter space for toiletries, making it difficult to stay organized. There were also a significant number of bugs both inside and outside the bungalow. One evening, we returned from dinner to find a large dead cockroach on the floor. The food was decent, but the room service menu was very limited. Restaurant reservations were difficult to secure at certain restaurants, and the restaurant we visited was disappointing. The portions were quite small, the service was disorganized, and our table was repeatedly served the wrong items. Overall, while there were a few positive aspects, the experience did not meet our expectations. For the price and advertised level of service, this did not feel like a true five-star hotel.

Clean room and good breakfast

Mixed stay great setting, but not the right fit for us Overall we had a pleasant enough experience, but it ultimately didn’t fully match what we were looking for. The resort itself is in a beautiful location right on the water, with a nice private beach and plenty of sunbeds and seating options. The beach area was definitely a bonus. with views across to Hydra. The room was fine standard but entry door not much soundproofing. That said, the overall atmosphere felt very much geared towards families with young children. It was quite a busy resort, especially towards our final night when a large number of guests arrived, and at times it felt crowded and lively in a way that didn’t suit the kind of quiet couples escape we had in mind. The buffet was fine but nothing particularly memorable good enough for convenience, but not a standout aspect of the stay. While the hotel itself is well maintained and the staff were generally pleasant and professional, we personally didn’t feel it was the best match for us as a gay couple. At times we felt a little uncomfortable due to the general guest environment, not because of the hotel staff, but simply the mix and atmosphere of the resort. In fairness, we did spend a lot of our time exploring other nearby areas, which we really enjoyed, but that also highlighted that the resort itself wasn’t quite aligned with our travel style. Overall, a nice property in a beautiful setting, but more of a family focused resort.
