We were delighted to discover Villa Gregory, perfectly positioned on the water’s edge of one of Corfu’s most enchanting bays. Just a pebble’s throw from the childhood home of the Durrells, this much-loved villa has been cherished by the same family for more than forty years. In 2015, it underwent a full renovation, sensitively preserving its traditional Corfiot exterior while transforming the interior into a contemporary haven with high-spec finishes and exceptional comfort.
One of the villa’s greatest highlights is the covered veranda, stretching along half the seafront façade. This peaceful, shaded retreat is the ideal place to relax with a book, watch the yachts drift across the bay, and enjoy the gentle sound of the waves meeting the pebbles below.
Inside, the villa offers impressively spacious open-plan living, with a bright sitting room, dining area and modern kitchen at its heart. The house is thoughtfully divided into two wings for added privacy:
To one side:
A generous Master Bedroom with French doors opening onto a sea-view patio, plus a modern en-suite shower room.
An adjacent Twin Bedroom, also with an en-suite shower room and French doors leading to the rear garden.
A small utility room with washing machine and ironing facilities.
To the opposite wing:
A large family bedroom featuring two 3/4 beds, an additional single cabin bed with pull-out single, and a charming Juliet balcony just five metres from the water’s edge. A further Double Bedroom. Both bedrooms share a contemporary family bath/shower room.

Great Villa in a Beautiful Location
A lovely clean, bright villa with all mod cons in a fantastic location with breathtaking views over the sea and onto the hills of Albania. Eating out on the veranda in the evening or just watching the world go by in the day makes a holiday in Kalami staying in Villa Gregory even more special.
Villa Gregory has lots of space, high ceilings, a great kitchen with all gadgets/utensils for when you are not eating out at the family friendly tavernas on the beach just a stones throw away.
Jane and co who look after the property are very helpful and look to make your stay enjoyable and smooth running (we forgot to mention we needed a cot and one was there in a few hours!)
All in all a great place and hope to come back soon.

Too Short & very Sweet
Just to say what a wonderful weekend we spent at Villa Gregory. We're regular visitors to Kalami and have watched this beautiful house being renovated over recent years and it really did live up to our expectation. To sit on the veranda listening to the water lapping up on the shore will be a wonderful memory when I'm sat back at my office desk tomorrow!! Kalami was as wonderful as ever and the position of this villa made it just more special. Being able to walk through your own gate onto the beach and just one minute to walk home in the evening was fantastic. Thanks for organising our stay and for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful home.
