"We had the loveliest visit at Oceanside Meadows Inn! Our host, Ben, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He has endless recommendations for whatever you're looking to do in the area. The area is beautiful, by the way. The rooms are quaint and clean. Just a note that there is no TV, at least not in our room, which luckily the 'big' game my husband wanted to watch was on the previous night when we were at a different location, but there are plenty of surroundings for time well spent. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed chatting with Ben and would definitely recommend the Inn!"

"I cannot overstate how incredible this property is and all I can really say is 'BOOK IT NOW.' The location is probably the best I've ever stayed in and the house is lovely- spotlessly clean, thoughtfully stocked, comfortable, and really well managed. One of the most memorable vactions ever and so, so grateful for allowing our dogs to come. Truly cannot recommend enough!"

"The view is beautiful. The only note I would make is 2 bedrooms are located upstairs. The one bathroom on that floor is in a bedroom. So the other bedroom must go downstairs for the bathroom. Only a problem if you get up in the middle of the night. It is not misrepresented in the listing. Just easy to overlook."

"We absolutely loved staying in Pamela’s house. She was an amazing host- communicating constantly about the Nor’easter that was hitting while we were there. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplaces after being out touring during the rain. It’s in such a great location! Only an hour from Bar Harbor. We only wished we could have taken advantage of the beautiful deck. It was raining most of the nights so we were unable to sit out. We will definitely return!"

"We could have stayed put on the property watching the activity on the harbor, birds and other wildlife. I loved discovering wildflowers and stargazing, but there is so much to do and see in the vicinity. Lunch on the Wharf is just a walk away. Schoodic Point, part of Acadia National Park, is close by. Ellsworth is about a half hour’s drive. Winter Harbor is not far, with the 5&10 and Gerrish’s….and you must eat at Chase’s.Pam Bridges is very helpful, easy to communicate with, providing what you need….even wood for the fire pit. We slept on the queen bed upstairs, which was very comfortable. Our only problem was that we both have to get up to get to the bathroom at night. So we prefer to have a bathroom on the same floor. If that is not your concern, you will greatly enjoy this place!It was so nice to be able to have our dog with us.This place is small enough for a couple, but it can accommodate a few more in a pinch, with a full size bed in the upstairs room along with the queen bed, and a pull-out bed downstairs. In warm weather. Dining for four can be in the screened in porch, but it was perfect for just us two.We wanted a small place in the Schoodic area, and this fit the bill."

"It is sometimes hard to find a nice pet friendly place but this one was great. Exactly as described, very clean and the host was great to work with. We even got in a few hours early. Beautiful view of the harbor. The stairs were pretty steep but not a huge issue for us. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again ourselves."
