"rooms were small, some reception staff not particularly friendly, however the location was excellent, bed comfy and rooms quiet. Great to have parking, though scary to drive through pedestrian streets and into the car park which was very tight"

"The value of our stay was incredible. When we arrived, we were seated in the lounge and given lemonade while our documents were recorded and we were checked in. We found the front desk clerk Yousef to be professional and made us feel awesome upon arrival. We took his restaurant recommendation and had a wonderful stay in Cordoba. I liked the simple, studio layout of our room and found it impeccably clean and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel for its affordable excellence."

"Having requested a room with a view we were rewarded in spades. Room 301 was beautiful, thank you. Only complaint is I’d have liked coffee in the room rather than having to go down to the reception area for a drink as I don’t drink tea. Frontage of hotel does not reflect the beauty inside "

"The Alfaros is a nice hotel in a great position, around a 10 minute walk from the Mesquita and Roman Bridge. The room was bright with a very comfortable bed, good shower and good quality linen and towels. Large bar/lounge and patio area. The photos are representative of the style of the hotel which is slightly dated, but everywhere was very clean and the staff we met were all very friendly. The breakfast was excellent with well cooked hot food and a great range of pastries, fresh fruit & yogurt and ingredients for tostadas. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Córdoba. (Note there is no kettle in the room as seems to be the way in many Spanish hotels, but the coffee from the hotel bar & at breakfast was very good). "
