"All areas are clean and look new. But the restaurant staff seem to be untrained. No smiles, won't look you in the eye and the three times we asked to sit for a drink, they made us feel like we were an imposition - not welcoming. In no way felt like 5 star service. Pool is nice but unfortunately it's a bit noisy everyday as the cleaning cart and other staff rush past. My partner and I would return to the hotel, it was really nice, plus great location, but just didn't feel like the five star service you're paying for."

"This place is a treasure! Located in the old Jewish Quarter near all the sights, you find yourself in an old style manor house! The staff is incredibly welcoming and speak excellent English. Our room had a 15 foot ceiling and a beautiful marble bathroom with a big tub and a separate shower. But the gem was the open courtyard with the sound of gurgling water and the perfume of the jasmine vines! Set yourself down and help yourself to a glass of wine at the honor bar! Wish we could have spent a week there!!!"
