"I did not use the bar or restaurant- so, I can’t comment on the food. Great location on VTech campus- perfect for business on campus. Nice helpful and friendly staff My only issue- the in-room coffee machine was not functioning- no coffee coming out on Day One I brought it to their attention at the Front Desk- they got it fixed right away- no problems next morning!"

"What a wonderful and convenient place to stay in Roanoke! Perfect location and beautiful hotel! Our daughter moved to Roanoke and we’ve been staying at a different hotel each time we visit. Parking wasn’t the most convenient, but not terrible and a very fair price. The only negative was we had counted on the 3 PM check-in that was given to us on the website. And while we were told that is the check-in time, rooms were not available until 4pm. The first lady we talked to wasn’t overly sympathetic, but once we went back and waited, everyone was very kind. This would be the only reason we might pause to book again especially if we have early dinner reservations as we typically do. It was a rush to get ready. But a beautiful hotel!"

"Was not disclosed the entire property would be under renovation. Breakfast was in a meeting room. I think the staff did a excellent job considering the conditions of having the entire first floor under construction. Just disappointed we where not told what we was walking into! "

"Pool and staff were nice, wish we had more time to enjoy it. I screwed up my booking date but the manager took care of it with no penalty. Very thankful and impressed there is still good people and customer service out there! "

"The staff was very polite. We stayed in a room for four, and there was only one very small shampoo container for everyone. We asked for more and were provided with additional supplies, but it would be helpful to have larger wall-mounted dispensers so there is enough for all guests without needing to ask. We also wanted to use the laundry room, but it only accepted coins, and there was nowhere to obtain them. When I asked at the front desk, they were unable to provide change, so we were not able to use the facilities. Lastly, we were told that breakfast was available until 10:00 AM, but when some of us arrived at 9:40 AM, it was already closed. Earlier that same morning, some of us had gone down for breakfast, and while it was available then, many of the items required heating in a microwave, and there was only one available, which caused delays. "
