Wonderful views!
We really enjoyed the location and the home. Quite the setting! Our only small complaint was the ice maker was not functional. Some advance notice would have been helpful so we could have brought a bag from the store.

The ice-maker must have been turned off by a previous guest. There are directions on how to turn the icemaker on and off (and all the appliances) on a single page displayed in the kitchen.

Back Again
Our second visit to this beautiful home. As lovely as we remembered. Incredibly comfortable with remarkable views. Loved walking on the beach from private access stairs, gazing out the huge picture windows, enjoying family time in large living room and resting in the nicely appointed bedrooms. Simply ideal.

This place is great!
Just as pictured. Lovely place right on the water. It doesn’t matter if you have bad weather because the views from the house are stunning. The house is equipped with everything you need and is cozy and clean.

Stunning Property for Rest or Play
We loved our visit to this property. The views are spectacular - absolutely as pictured. But the house itself was also perfect. The host was very helpful as we wanted to harvest our own seafood. Everything we needed (equipment) and needed to know (information) Mike provided. He was beyond helpful. The kitchen was well stocked so we could come back and enjoy our bounty! The nearby State Parks were amazing. We loved seeing the sea lions at Simpson Reef. And don’t miss the botanic gardens at Shore Acres. All of that activity was fun to do with our family of four. But we also enjoyed the views and some downtime playing games and watching March Madness basketball at the house during the rain. It was a great trip.

Great getaway with easy access to the beach.
Nice place to stay overall. Great views. Close to Sunset Beach, Shore Acres (which has the Botanical Gardens), Cape Arago, Bastendorf Beach, and Charleston. When in Charleston, make sure you visit Portside restaurant for high end eats. Some of the appliances in the rental are in need of replacement. But nothing that made for a bad experience. If you venture onto the beach, make sure you check the tide tables, as it is very easy to get stranded if you're not paying attention.

Super place for our parents 65th anniversary. Super views, quiet, and a feeling of extravagance throughout. The beds were overly comfortable and the attached bathrooms to two of the rooms were delightful. The third bedroom had a close bathroom The kitchen and dining area were fun to use in that the refrigerator were in a combination of 6 large drawers. The dining and living areas had a most beautiful view of the waves and ocean. The garage area had a fun game room including a couch and table. The place was extremely clean. We are looking forward to staying here again during whale watching/ storm times. A great find in the Coos Bay area.

Great house on the Beach in Coos Bay Area!
This was a wonderful, modern home on the cliffs over looking the ocean. We rented the upper two levels which was just the right room for a family of 4 with two older children who had their own rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful views of the waves and light house!

Floor to ceiling windows, view of the lighthouse, and ultra clean. If you head south to Shore Aces, the beaches and trees are gorgeous. Well worth the money, especially at winter rates. Would definitely return!

This house is even better than the pictures! All the white decor throughout is stunning. There qre stairs down to the beach within a short walk. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our trip to see the Christmas lights at Shore Acres.

Absolute Best
While this property clearly accommodates many more people- this retired couple needed a peaceful place to recharge without any “outside noice”. Dreamy inside and especially outside- the view. Waves so loud they could sound like thunder. Little touches inside that make life easier, heated floors, floor to ceiling windows and USB charging ports everywhere you didn’t even know you needed one. And spotless. Hope to make this an annual visit.

Million Dollar View
This is my second stay at this property and just love it! Everything is top notch and beautifully decorated. The view of the lighthouse and ocean is spectacular as well as the private beach with easy access. I am a professional Chef and enjoy cooking and entertaining and this home is perfect for that. It is a bonus to have such a great attraction as Shore Acres State Park which is just a very short drive down the street. I always make it a point to take my guests there during our stay at this property. I have to say my guests were thoroughly impressed with everything and I would like to add Mike is a wonderful Host! Can't wait for my next stay here at this beautiful Oceanfront Home!

Pretty Bedrooms and Clean!
We really enjoyed staying here, the master bedroom is stunning. Cell service is non existent which made checking in a little challenging as we had to call the host to clarify, which is tough when calls are dropping. Logging onto the wifi is imperative, but was not reliable. I would not plan to take video meetings here. Otherwise the view and decor were equally beautiful.

Thanks for the feedback. Our guest is absolutely correct about the cell service. If you have ATT, the service is marginal (although 30 seconds away from the house it works great). Sometimes we can make and receive calls without any problems and other times it is frustrating. We have a landline at the house just to make sure guests can make and receive calls also. Other cell providers and wifi calling seem to work fine. I've done Zoom calls from the beach house without a problem, but that apparently was a problem for our guest. Mike

The view is exceptional! Beautiful house.
We stayed five nights in this house and loved every minute. The beach trail is close and easy to walk. Cape Arago lighthouse is closer than the photos show. We hope to come back soon!

Worth Every Penny!
This home is clean and well stocked. The views are absolutely incredible. We had plenty of room for our group and appreciated that there were multiple gathering spaces between the main living area, upstairs sofa and table, deck, and then the groupings of chairs around the lawn. We found everything we needed and then some which is rare in a beach house rental. We appreciated having access to lawn chairs, clamming and crabbing equipment, etc. The host has very specific and thorough instructions so you aren’t left guessing about anything. We definitely hope to be back!

This property is beautiful inside and out! The inside decor is fitting to the coastal view from all the big windows in the kitchen and living room. You can see a historical lighthouse straight through the dining room window. Mike supplies everything you need for a fantastic trip!

The property is stunning in and of itself. Mike is an incredibly attentive host and did the most to make sure our stay was perfect. He allowed us to have a small wedding ceremony there and it was truly what all of my dreams were made of. Could not recommend this place more. I can’t wait to go back in the future and make more memories. We rented the whole house and it was perfect for our family to have a little getaway! Highly recommend!

The house was nice and the views are great. The only issue was the listing stated entire home, but the description states 2nd and 3rd floors. I assumed we had the entire home, meaning no one else is there, and they don’t rent the first floor. Not the case. We arrived the same time as another renter for the first floor.

We try to avoid any confusion by stating that this is a three-story home and the 3 BR/3 BA unit is on the second and third floors and the first floor is a separate vacation rental. We reiterate this information via email immediately after guests book to make sure they know there are two separate units in the house. We are sorry about any confusion.

The views from this home are amazing! Just gorgeous. We enjoyed being so close to Shore Acres and Cape Arago State Park for great hiking and whale watching. Lighthouse beach is also beautiful and fun to explore at low tide. Overall, great place for two couples. I highly recommend!

We came for a family vacation and we were not disappointed! After driving 3 days across the country, we arrived very late to a perfectly comfortable and clean home. The set up is perfect for a family-the little loft area with its own tv and kitchenette worked out so well for us. Our kids felt like they had their own space. The entire house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The beach views are amazing. When I had a question, Mike answered my call right away and followed up later to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend!!!

Fabulous Oregon Coastal rental
We stay in lots of rentals, and this was by far a favorite. It is not only a beautiful and comfortable home, it looks out to perhaps the most spectacular coastline in southern oregon. We had a group of 10 family members and it accommodated us all. It was perfect, especially the sitting area outside overlooking the ocean and lighthouse. Loved this place.

We can’t say enough good things about this property— it was perfect from start to finish. Our only regret was not staying for a longer period! The home was immaculate and the views were breathtaking. Everything you could ever need was provided, even crab pots and equipment for crabbing! There was so much information provided by the host that we never even needed to google/yelp anything… all of our needs were met and exceeded. Exceptional Oregon Beach House
We spent a week here and rented out the entire house (upper and lower). The house is beautiful and well maintained with beautiful views! We spent a lot of time at the kitchen table after dinners playing hours of board games (all that were provided by the owner). We love playing games and playing them surrounded by the sound and view of the ocean was wonderful. Mike was excellent to communicate with and always responsive. They had provided a binder that was so helpful for everything from house related items to what to do, where to eat and detailed info on crabbing. He also provided info about the nearest grocery store upon my request. Shore Acres State Park was a favorite during our trip and just a few minutes away. We also visited lighthouse Beach (and took a picnic) that is less than a 5 min drive. Cape Arago state park is also a must and the views are amazing. There is a marine life center in Charleston that was so neat, inexpensive and our 10 year old son loved it! We also drove to Bandon and ate at Tony’s crab shack and spent time in Florence at the Dunes and Sea Lion Cave. Our favorite meal (and drinks) were at 7 Devils Brewery on the water. The food, service, drinks and atmosphere there were great! In fact everyone we met on this trip were so nice and enjoyable. It’s not a commercialized hustle and bustle place. We spent a lot of time in nature and relaxing at the beach house. The sunsets are amazing and the beach in the morning was also! So much to do!

Thank you for the review. There are two keypads to open the gate; one to enter the property and a second to exit the property. The keypad to exit the property was not working correctly so the guests had to use the keypad on the other side of the gate (about 20 feet away) to leave the property. I was able to fix the malfunctioning keypad today.

We rented the two upstairs floors and were extremely happy with our stay. The views from the home and yard are amazing. My kids couldn't get enough of exploring what seemed like our own private beach. The cliffs and rock formations are dramatically beautiful. We only saw a handful of other people on the beach during our four day stay. The house itself is nicely furnished with top quality appliances and it is as great as the photos suggest. Highly recommend this property

Stunning Beach House
Stunning is the best word I can think of for this rental. The home is beautifully designed and decorated. The many many windows afford fantastic views of the lighthouse, beaches and surf as it crashes just below the house. Everything we may have needed was available from family games, washer and dryer to great cookware. It was a great base for going to Sunset Beach or Shore Acres. We all loved our stay. Absolutely fabulous!!
