The whole hotel smelled of cigarettes. The bed had something spilled on the bed skirt and it wasn't cleaned. All the walls had specs. The sheets seemed ok, however, the pillows smelled of smoke and my asthma was triggered all night. The room temperature was fine. Beds were a little firm but nice. The cigarettes and cleanliness was the worst part.

We went there for the Hot tub but it had busted that morning so unfortunately we couldn’t use it. Pool looked great. Very clean inside, nice staff and decent location. Free breakfast was next to nothing, but if you’re choosing a hotel based on Free Breakfast then you need a new hobby. I’d give this hotel a 8 out of 10! Especially for the price! Outside could have used a little cleaning up, but I couldn’t care less about that.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness. Our sheets had stains. Our small liquid soap had already been opened. The cushion in the chair obviously never gets vaccumed. Candy wrappers and a lot of other yucky stuff. I checked for bugs, never saw any. The staff were very friendly. I just wish they could see the potential of what they have. All they need to do is get the owner to clean it up.

This hotel seems to house a lot of workers. Very dirty rooms. Curtains in both rooms were torn. The chairs were very dirty and stained along with the covers on the bed. The doors locks were broke to the outside so anyone could come in you didn't need to use your keys. The rooms also smelled of smoke and tar. I would not suggest to stay here. The only good thing the beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice. The pool seemed cleaned although we did not use it. Looks like they had a water leak. The titles in the hallway were water stained and some were missing. Check your windows mine was lock but not shut all the way.

Front desk was very helpful getting us adjoining rooms and early check-in. Although we didn’t use the pool, it looked clean. The hot tub was out of commission, but that was OK since we weren’t interested in using it.

Stay was okay, TV was not working in the room. Was not fixed during my stay and nothing was done about it, after asking my twice. Also, found a small cockroach in my room. Listing says pet friendly, but you cannot leave your dog unattended. Other than that, the stay was alright. Not the best stay, but not the worst either.

The property itself could use a little upkeep but overall, the towels were clean not stained, sheets were clean, no hairs, beds were comfortable and tub was clean, again no hairs or soap scum. For the price and only a half hour south from Michigan adventures right off 96. Id call it budget friendly.
