"Overall very nice, a beautiful and scenic spot. Wish we'd had more time to take advantage of the outdoor firepit! We also appreciated the owner's fishing guide recommendations and had a great day of guided fishing, in addition to fishing along the shore of the backyard."

"Good place to sleep. We went fishing. The only thing I didn’t like was the carpets. They did have breakfast but my fat ass thought it was going to be a nice buffet with eggs/sausage all that good stuff. It was only bread or yogurt. A bit too high price for a cheap room. "

"Wonderful place to stay! Our room was very large with a table/chairs, sitting area, wood burning stove, and king bed (which was very comfy). It also had a private balcony off the room! Front desk staff was great, the restaurant had delicious food and drink (it was nice eating on the back deck overlooking the mountains), and there was a nice walking trial down to the river. If guests didn't feel like walking back up the big hill they could call the front desk and have the hotel van come and get them. This was also the only hotel we stayed at in Alaska that had recycling bins around the main building and in the rooms. We also enjoyed the jigsaw puzzle in the lobby and spent a few hours working on it."
