"I chose this motel over another one nearby because it has a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. It exceeded my expectations! The lady at the front desk was kind, funny, and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The shower was hot and had plenty of water pressure, which is not always the case at hotels and motels. The bed was very comfortable. I will be coming back to the area on business and will definitely stay here again. "

"We had an awesome stay at Little Bay Retreat! The place is immaculately clean and so comfortable as a home base for exploring this area of DownEast Maine. The views from the deck are constantly changing with the tide, so much to just sit and enjoy. Visited Lubec having lunch at the old sardine factory overlooking the water, went to West Quoddy State Park and walked the trails and visited the lighthouse, went to Jasper Beach and discovered a wonderful nearby restaurant south of Machias called The Public House, affiliated with West Branch Farms, and enjoyed lobsters from Capt Matt eating them in the Gazebo as the sun set over the bay. Highly recommend a stay at Little Bay."
