"Nice, clean, and cozy cabin! The view from the back porch and the sound of the river make for a peaceful and relaxing afternoon, after a day full of walking and exploring. The casino, shops and several restaurants are just minutes down the road. Our second time staying at Appaloosa, and this will definitely be our regular spot to stay when back in the area! "

"Location was close to downtown. Pet friendly. Easy access to get into the cabin. River view was nice.Host was responsive. The cabin could use some upgrades but nothing that could be addressed during our one night stay such as piping on couch was poking out, chair arm in LR was broken, ceilings were dirty, refrigerator had mold on the outside seals, the LR carpet had burn holes. We stayed 1 out of 2 nights and the host did come by early the next morning to check on us. We did let the host know that we had planned not staying the 2nd night, he did ask of issues, it was just to early to discuss. "

"Such a peaceful stay in the mountains!! If you ever need a private getaway that's a few miles away from food, the casino, and downtown Cherokee, then this is the perfect place! The host was super nice, stayed in contact the whole time, and checking in/out was really simple."

"Absolutely beautiful cabin inside and out. Beautiful mountain views. Very clean and well maintained property. The 5 bedrooms was great. We had 9 in our group and had plenty of space for all. Kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with everything you need to cook. 3 full baths and 1 half was fully stocked with clean towels and wash clothes. The outdoor patio over looking the mountains was beautiful. Gas grill with extra gas for grilling. Host was very responsive and answered all questions without delays. I give this place a 10 out of 10. Ill definitely stay again. "
