"Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. "

"I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the Maldron was. I had expected the rooms to be noisy with the planes coming and going at all hours, but I did have three very good nights sleep. The restaurant/bar staff were so friendly, which was nice as I was travelling alone. Overall a great experience."

"Firstly, check in was great. Friendly, efficient and helpful. Unfortunately that was the only good point! Service in the bar area was a joke, borderline embarrassing. Slack service, with (teenage) staff more interested on being on their phones ( can be seen in cellar area). Simple requests ignored and repeatedly asked for - drink, payment,, receipt etc."

"Josie had the house spotless for our arrival. She met us outside when we arrived, which I am glad she did as she was able to provide us the code to the lockbox to get the key to the house since our phones 4G wasn't hitting at the time. Her communication is excellent and the snacks provided were spot on. We were happy to see horses in the field around us and were surprised to see a bonus little filly running in the field. While we were there one of the mares gave birth to a second filly, so we got to see a second one for a bit. All in all it is a great place to stay. House is clean, good sized, well stocked, beds are comfy, and the host is on top of everything and responds very quickly to questions you may have. It is about 10 minutes to the nearest town (Cookstown) where you can pick up essentials from Lidl and get gas if needed. Would definitely stay again!"

"Our stay was really good. The hotel was quiet even though there was a wedding taking place. The staff where helpful and friendly. The room was a standard hotel room nothing special but it was clean and that suits us. The restaurant food was good and tasty it was a really slick service. My partner ordered the half duck but it must have been a duckling instead. It was the smallest "half duck" we have ever seen and it was over cooked but still enjoyed it. I ordered the pasta which was very tasty and a huge portion. We did three courses and when the bill came I nearly fell down - but wages need paid and the lights need to stay on! One thing we would say is the hotel is great, we would come back. My last piece here is a final comment on the hotel restaurant dessert menu - it's old style and out of date. I'm veggie and I can guarantee ( being an old chef myself) that I will be offered a pasta or rice dish and at best a veggie burger. The menu is meat heavy and if your vegan - forget it! Kitchen staff - where's your inspiration!? Anyway, big thank you to all the staff but particularly the ladies on reception. With love, ❤️"
