The staff is terrific, very nice, and very helpful. More towels, more coffee, a blanket, anything, just ask. The property is centrally located, near all the good restaurants, Walmart, and Sam's Club. Interstate 40 is just two blocks down the street. We stay here with our service dog every time we're in Tennessee visiting relatives. It's a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, the TV has soooo many channels, the parking lot is well-lit, and breakfast is served 6am to 9am. There's a Mexican restaurant right on the same property. You can walk right into it a few steps from your room. I highly recommend the terrific Best Western Thunderbird Motel. You won't be disappointed!

One night stay late September. Convenient location within easy/ moderate walking distance of several restaurants and fast food joints. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Breakfast usual selection of cold and hot offerings, no complaints. Hotel and room acceptably clean, no bugs seen, bedding and other linens clean. Had a good quiet night's sleep. Negatives were the lobby absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and our non-smoking room had a noticeable pot smell. Would stay again if back in area and better rated/ more affordable options not available.

This is an old school MCM motel, which has rooms that open on to the parking lot. The rooms are a bit noisier due to that, but overall they are nicely decorated and very clean. Parking is literally right outside the door! Mexican restaurant on site was great.

When we drove up to BW it looked older so that concerned me. But the room was very clean and comfortable. What we didn’t like was the gap with the door, a half inch on the bottom left side. A quarter inch gap on the top of the door. I was concerned bugs or critters might join us, at least we were able to place a towel at the bottom of the door. The air conditioning unit had a weird smell and was very noisy. The complementary breakfast was okay if you prefer a cold breakfast.
