Station Loft - One Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 2
Station Loft is a fantastic one bedroom second-floor penthouse apartment, with amazing views over the River Conwy and across the bay to Conwy's historic walled town. With an open, airy living space, modern decor, it is a fantastic space to base yourself for your exploration of North Wales. The apartment is close by to the Deganwy railway station, making is an easy place to get to, either by car or train, and the beautiful views over the River Conwy, and Bodlondeb Woods are a sight to behold. A penthouse apartment ideally located for all North Wales has to offer, perfect for a couples retreat, or a quiet weekend away. Set over one level, this penthouse apartment has a wonderful bedroom with king-size bed and ample storage, perfect for floating off to sleep after a fabulous day exploring this beautiful part of the world. As well as the bedroom, next door, you will find a large, spacious bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower, washbasin and WC. Large skylight windows in the bedroom, kitchen and entrance hallway let so much natural light into the apartment and from the seating area in the main living space, wonderful views of the mountain ranges beyond. The living area is an open plan affair, where you will find modern 'U' shaped kitchen worktops with breakfast bar, and seating for you to dine. Practical facilities for a wonderful self-catering stay mean you will want for nothing, and you will have full access to a washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and tea station, oven, hob, and crockery and cutlery. There is Wi-Fi broadband, and a Smart TV with DVD player, and a large 3 person sofa in the living room also, for your comfort and relaxation. Bed linen, towels are provided, and free roadside parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis outside the apartment, but proximity to the local train station in Deganwy is very close for those travelling by public transport. This apartment is above its sister apartment, Station Approach, which sleeps 4 people. A mix of modern and historical, Deganwy sits on the shores of the Conwy Estuary between Victorian Llandudno and medieval Conwy. An evolving town that’s making modern additions, it also celebrates its heritage. Enjoying a fortunate position, Deganwy delivers stunning views across the water to the Isle of Anglesey and Conwy Castle. The town’s beach is a south-facing sun magnet that’s complemented by a contemporary marina and quayside development. Nearby, you will find Conwy, a town rich in history, which much of it still preserved within the walls and traditional structures of its buildings. In the heart of it is the mighty 13th-century castle, whose walls encapsulate this remarkable medieval town. Surrounded by lush Welsh countryside and watched over by the mighty mountains of Snowdonia, it’s a most beautiful place to visit. The Quay is host to a number of amenities and is a particularly stunning place to visit during the warm summer months. Whether you’d prefer to sit with a refreshing drink outside of the cosy quayside pub, take an exciting boat tour around the coastal area or hike upon the many surrounding mountains – it’s all possible in the quaint town of Conwy. Conwy offers a whole host of places to eat and drink. Fine dining restaurants, traditional pubs and snug cafes can be found throughout the town. It’s also host to a number of hotels and B&Bs – many of which incredibly close to the castle itself. It’s not every day that you wake up five minutes away from a medieval castle – but in Conwy, it’s the norm for many. With its traditional and quaint appearance, you may be fooled into thinking that this town is hard to access. It’s just over an hour’s drive from two major airports – Liverpool and Manchester. If you’ll be travelling by train, you’ll have no problems catching a train from major cities in the UK over to Conwy. It’s worth exploring further afield in the rest of Conwy County which includes equally impressive coastal towns.
