  • Prancing Horse Estates is a beautiful property is located on 10 private, gated acres near The Woodlands, Lake Conroe, and Woodforest. You’ll love this beautiful well stocked home located within 4 meadow and 6 wooded acres with 2 paths to the spring fed creek through the forest - with lovely space outdoors incl BBQ, pool, waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, seating/dining for 16. This estate is an official 2025 Certified Wildlife Habitat® site with the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Conservation Alliance. There is so much space to enjoy, so we offer up to eight guests included in the room rate, with additional day visitors or overnight guests at $35 per person per night if your friends want to drop by for a BBQ, campfire, or dip in the pool. Enjoy 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, living area, dining area, and family room with extensive outdoor space to enjoy. There is 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 5 twin beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. A crib, pack n play and toddler bed are available, as well as air mattresses, upon request.

    We provide a 10% military and police / fireman appreciation discount (ID req).

What an amazing property! We had the most wonderful family gathering here. The pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The peacefulness and beauty of nature was endless. We saw deer every day. We could not ask for more gracious hosts than Kelly and Ken. If I could give 10 stars I would. We will definitely book here again when we return to the Houston area.

We had such an amazing Memorial Day weekend at this property! What started as a romantic couple getaway quickly turned into one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had in a long time. The property is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it feel like you’re far away from the city even though everything is still conveniently accessible.The pool was honestly one of the highlights. Super clean, relaxing, and perfect for both daytime fun and late-night swims. The entire place feels private and spacious, making it ideal not only for couples, but honestly for a whole family getaway as well. There’s plenty of room to relax, unwind, and make memories together.Everything was well maintained, comfortable, and welcoming. You can really tell Kelly who is the host , care about the experience guests have here. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with an awesome pool, quiet surroundings, and a cozy atmosphere, this is the place. We already want to come back!

Fabulous, peaceful family getaway

We stayed in early April with our adult children and elderly parents. The pool and hot tub were excellent, and the outdoor seating was plentiful and was a favorite place to be if we were not in the water. Beds are comfortable, host is so thoughtful and kind, and the house was a perfect set up for our group. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great property off the beaten path. Stayed for the wife’s bday get together. Spacious house and great pool. Property manager was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Wonderful home in beautiful surroundings

Second time here and just as nice as first. Great pool, really comfortable beds and nestled in a large wooded estate. Excellent for birding or long walks. Definitely recommend!

Plenty of room for a large group. Great location if attending an event at the Lodge at Mound Creek. Everything was clean. Lots of extra blankets and towels. Fully stocked kitchen. Large Bluetooth speaker to connect to and play music. If you have small children there are a multitude of games and fun costumes. Host was flexible with check in and out which was nice because people’s flights were arriving at different times.

Plenty of space!!

We stayed on this property so that my daughter and her friends could have a great end of school celebration. There were 12 of us, including my husband and I, and we loved how much space there was throughout the house, including beds. Kitchen had at the cookware we needed, and we even grilled. It was such a relaxing stay even with 10 girls!

This is a beautiful house and property. The hosts were really responsive and helpful. It is a wonderfully fully stocked kitchen and tons of toys, games, DVD's, etc. Use Google maps to get there, not Waze.

Kids birthday

We hosted our 11 year old son’s birthday and the space was great. Plenty of open space for the boys to play but relaxing for my wife and I to sit by the pool and enjoy the hot tub! Lots of room to sleep and not far from store or restaurants if needed! Highly recommend

Wedding weekend

What a wonderful home!! Our son’s wedding was at The Lodge at Mound Creek and this location was perfect! The home is beautiful and has everything needed to host family and friends of all ages! The host was very responsive and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this property!

Fantastic Property!

We stayed at this property to get in a little R&R with family and attended a New Kids on the Block concert at the Cynthia Wood Mitchell Pavilion. The drive was not bad and there was no traffic. We sure loved the pool and all the amenities. Beautiful, well kept and very wonderful host. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful Home, Pool, and Property!

This is a fabulous property. Perfect for a large family! My kids families of 4 each and me! We all had a private space. The kids loved all the toys and the pool! So peaceful. We had guests one day and there was room for all. We didn’t stay long enough to get to enjoy everything. We plan to come back!

Myself and 7 friends stayed overnight after spending a whole day at the Texas Renaissance Festival.
