Always a great stay! Keith is a terrific host and very responsive. The house location couldn’t be better or more peaceful. We will be back again and again !
The home had everything we needed. The pictures on the VRBO site don't do it justice. It is beautiful inside & out, surrounded by mountains and the river off the deck. A rare find. Fishing was really fun. The small towns near were great. We appreciated they weren't super touristy and were quaint, friendly, and many places available for tasty food. We loved the history of the area too!
Plenty of space, great location far enough off the highway for quiet, well maintained grounds, nicely stocked. We had a minor hiccup but came to terms with the owner to rectify it immediately. We’d definitely stay again.
This home was beautiful. The fishing on the river off the back deck was great! The home was very clean. Great location driving to Darby. I would highly recommend this home!!!
Our family had a great stay at the Riverhouse. We caught many fish and saw lots of wildlife. We would love to stay again sometime. Let us know if you ever sell this place! Heaven on the river.
Keith was the best owner and super responsive to all of my questions. The house location on the river couldn’t have been better and was everything we had hoped it would be. We cannot wait to stay at the Riverhouse again!
You are on the river . We never wanted to leave!
Extremely clean and organized. The owner had detailed information for that area ! We will definitely book here again !!
This cabin is everything and more! The breathtaking views of mountains and river are stunning. The only thing that would have made it better is reserving fishing gear ahead of time. We got lost in the beauty of the property and land that we forgot!! This is a must stay!
Have stayed at the Riverhouse numerous times and it gets better everytime. If you are looking for a great place that’s clean, comfortable, quiet and on the river you can’t do better than the Riverhouse. Whatever your pleasure: read a book, fish, shop in a small town there is something for everyone. We had a great time doing all three.
As expected, this was a top-notch vacation for everyone in the party. The views all around are outstanding, and there is much to do and see in the local area, though it was really hard to leave the back porch for very long. We appreciate the care and comfort of the house, and we hope to visit again.
The Riverhouse cabin is just a spectacular spot on the Bitterroot River. We enjoyed the solitude, stars, wildlife not only here, but in the surrounding area.
Trips to Salmon, ID, the Big Hole Battlefield and the Jackson Hot Spring were some of our adventures this week. The mountain vistas over the passes were gorgeous.
Best spot on the River to relax, read and enjoy nature at its best!
The Riverhouse on the Bitterroot was perfect for us! There were six of us, (adults), and we had plenty of room. Very clean! Everything we needed. Peaceful & quiet! Owner was great to deal with!
Absolutely amazing quiet vacation we needed. From Montana but did a staycation this year for our family summer vacation and will definitely book again. Went on the senic drive suggested by owner and seen the big horn sheep about 10miles up. Great communication with owner. It was nice our 14yr old could fish right in front of the deck while I sat and read my book.
My wife and I stayed at the riverhouse in late August and my daughter and grandson visited with us for 5 days of our 2 week stay.
The pictures tell it all. Beautiful location, great fishing and lots to do in the area. The home is very functional and the kitchen is well equiped for cooking and dining.
Working with the owner was easy and the few minor issues we had were resolved easily.
We hope to return and stay again
Our group spent Presidents Day weekend skiing at Lost Trail. We chose the Riverhouse due to its great location to Lost Trail and the ratings it has received. Both items fit as advertised. The house was clean and a great accommodation for our small group. The convenience to Lost Trail was as good as it gets. Watching elk each day from the living room window is a definite bonus. This will be our first choice for our next trip to Lost Trail.
Great property in an unbelievable setting. Keith is a great communicator and full of valuable information. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay (fishing, sight seeing, hiking, exploring nearby towns), but most enjoyed relaxing by the river and watching big horn sheep and bald eagles. We will be back.
We enjoyed our week at river house. The property is indescribable. Solidarity and peace and quit was amazing we had the fishing spot on the entire rover. Our host was amazing they had a ton of landmarks and soggts naked out in a binder to help us fill some extra time. This was a wonderful experience and i would highly recommend this property and host!
So much good to say! The house is immaculate and very well appointed. The fishing was good and fun. The area was absolutely beautiful and the wildlife was a joy to see. I would recommend The Riverhouse very highly. We were sad to have to leave. The owners were so kind and truly wonderful to talk to.
A huge thank you to the Lee’s!!
Rich and Vicki
Everything as described. Just sitting on the deck watching the river flow is extremely relaxing. Even better with a drink in hand. Fishing close to the house. Watching the stars. Very comfortable stay. Very hard to leave. Keith will take care of any questions you might have.
