"An unassuming hotel about ten minutes walk from the cathedral and the canal. There’s secure parking at the hotel but it’s limited and the streets around don’t offer many safe places to park. "The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"In a fabulous location, right next to the walled town. Accommodation basic but had everything you needed for a short stay. We were able to borrow a kettle and use the laundry facilities. Cooking facilities not very good and reception closed between 12 and 3 so no check in during these times. Reception staff helpful but limited language. Parking available at extra cost."

"We enjoyed a wonderful week at this charming historic village home. Pierre’s wife met us at the house to leave the keys and show us around. Despite the language barrier we were able to understand some of what she told us. There did seem to be some miscommunication about towels for the kitchen and bath being provided but she was kind enough to supply those after we requested them. We had no other issues and found the location of the house to be perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside...
