"All of the fun pools close between 6:00 and 6:30pm. Which is a real bummer. By the time you're able to check in, get into your room, get ready, and walk over they're already closed or close to it. Its May. Time to keep longer hours. We chose to stay here a few nights to give the kids a fun experience outside of the gulf for easy swimming. They were super bummed and so were we. I wouldn't stay here again just for that. The beds weren't the best. The bathrooms super outdated and gross looking. The only plus side was the free laundry onsite. We didnt use the free shuttle to the island so I cant speak on that."

"The room did not feel clean. The bed was not made up like it should be, my daughter was concerned it hadn’t been washed? The AC was terrible. Very loud on and off and never cooled the room sufficiently. The walls were dirty and the tile in bathroom didn’t feel clean, felt I needed to wear shoes in there. Would not stay again. And a random charge on my credit card for 3 dollars? Not sure what for?"

The communication with the host was easy. She was always accessible. I highly recommend this house and host for anyone looking for a great getaway that’s private and classy."

"Needless to say, this is an interesting place to stay. Most of it was fine. The big issue we had was the air conditioners in the upstairs bedrooms are very loud and it gets hot in those rooms. So, you almost have to run them. My wife slept downstairs where the air conditioner was much quieter. Other than that, if you are looking for a unique VRBO experience, this might be the place for you."
