"Our stay was wonderful! We chose Brier Island Lodge for our stay as we had an early whale watching tour (which was phenomenal) and the lodge exceeded our expectations. Staff were friendly and accommodating, dining on site is a bonus and the rooms were clean and quaint. We were able to leave the island with a sense of peace and a desire to go back."

"We have been renting vacation homes for over 15 years, and hands down, this was the most incredible house we have ever stayed in. The views are breathtaking; we never got tired of just standing outside, looking at the water/cliffs. The house is stocked with every imaginable thing you could possibly want -- from beach towels, a cooler, spices galore, etc. Beds super comfortable and loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. Felt like a real home, not a rental. Beverly was beyond fantastic as a host. From the welcome basket of goodies to going above and beyond to provide us with info about the area. Super responsive to my pre-arrival questions; simply an incredible host who wants her guests to be happy and comfortable. We enjoyed our daily excursions to different sights in the area, but nothing beat coming back to this magnificent home. Don't know if we will ever be back in the area, but would not hesitate to stay here again. In fact, sorry we couldn't box up the house and take it (and Beverly) with us on future vacations!"

"Our stay with Judie & Len was the start of a 9 day visit to Nova Scotia. We were two couples, Nana & 3 children. We all fit comfortably in the three bedrooms and had three bat/washrooms too. Judie ensured we had delectable continental breakfasts with French press coffee each morning. Thank you!! Love the decor and a little bit of New Zealand mixed in…"

"This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days ....."

"Check-in was simple and Madison was kind enough to allow early-access to the property. There was ample seating and activity space for the full family, and the warf is directly across the street to provide easy access to the waterfront and Saturday morning farmers market. Sunsets from the front patio and yard are spectacular! We we're also able to have the perfect view of the full moon from the outdoor seating area.The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to cook a meal for a large family gathering, and seating was ample around the dining table thanks to the size and the bench. The coffee bar was the highlight for me, with a Keurig machine, drip coffee, and French press all available."
