"The room was excellent. It was very clean and spacious with a huge shower. The front desk on the other hand was ok. I didn’t feel the customer service was superb in fact it was average. I almost felt as if I was interrupting whatever they were doing in the back. "

"I want to say the staff at Douglas Inn and Suites was amazing. We accidentally left a full duffle bag with shoes a phone clothes and money in it. We didnt realize til we got home to Michigan. We are so appreciative to the guest who turned it in and the staff that mailed it!! Thank you so much!! Will be forever grateful!!"

"My children and I were here for an overnight as we were in town to visit family. Let me say that this is the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in which was a huge welcome since we were all tired. The room was pretty clean, the bathroom walls could use a good scrub, but nothing that kept me from showering. The water was hot and the pressure was great. The beds were comfy as were the pillows. The TV lagged a little. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely stay here again!! The staff was very friendly and helpful!"

"Staff cared very little for the needs of the guest. The AC in our room sounded like a lawn mower. It kept cycling on and off and didn't even cool the room. We reported this to the front desk and got 0 assistance. In addition, our room was never serviced. When we checked in, there was no information provided indicating that our room wouldn't be cleaned. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else. We come to the area several times a year to visit family, but will select another hotel next time. "

"The hotel is old and in terrible condition. The furniture in our room was very old, stained and dirty. The carpet was at least 20-25 years old. The toilet leaked and a plastic trash container was used to catch the water. It is hard to believe this hotel is in operation and has not been closed by the city health and codes department. I would never stay there again. I originally booked 3 nights but checked out after 2 and the hotel still charged me for the 3 nights. No refund."
