"Whilst a large property it never felt crowded or overrun with people. With 4 pools catering for a variety of holiday makers, we were spoilt for choice but the adult only pool was a great bonus."

"The view and location were what sold me on Barcelo. Cant beat a view across the water to fabulous viiew of Valletta. Location to restaurants and the ferry or other rental boats was great Our room was really huge and very modern. Our balcony was also a plus. Worth the extra money to get a room with a view. "

"I've stayed in a few hotels around St Julian's but this is the first time I've gone as a family with small kids. The staff were excellent, and the breakfast selection in our section was great. Gym facilties are very good, there is a games area for kids with PlayStation, TV and some other games though the arcade machine needs a bit of attention. Room service was really fast, good value for money and surprisingly tasty. The area is very busy and is mainly full of tourists. The is no hotel parking but I was able to find a parking spot everyday within 5 minutes walk which was free. There is a car park next door but I think it is €15 a day. I would definitely recommend it. If you're young the clubs and bars outside are everywhere plus the is the usual western fast food places. 5 stars from me as the kids were happy. "

"We had a great time at this hotel. The bus stop was right outside which was very convenient to get to and from the airport/Valletta. The sea-view room we had was very clean and spacious and all the staff were very welcoming and polite. There was plenty of choice at breakfast for everyone so overall a great hotel in a great location. Don’t let the building work over the road put you off ! "
