Location is a good base for exploring North Wales and has an allocated parking space.
The property itself was clean, however it does suffer from wood lice. The property is on a farm and is an old farm building so a few bugs are expected. There were too many for our personal comfort.
The views around the farm are lovely. There is one small window and a couple of skylights. The one above the bed has a blind that doesn’t completely block light.
WiFi connection is very good.
Tastefully decorated. Bathroom is quite tight and narrow. Doorways are quite low but we were warned about this prior to arrival and didn’t cause any issues.
Bed was comfortable.
Hair dryer provided. Very soft towels. No kitchen sponge, but cloth and washing up liquid available for washing up. No hand soap provided.
Top tips:
Contact the phone number given on your booking confirmation to get the key code. We weren’t sent ours before arrival. Owner responded promptly.
Make a note of the name of the farm. This is not included in the directions on your welcome email, but will make it easier to find the property.
There are two properties on the site both with parking spaces. There are no names on the properties, the Hayloft is on the left.
Bring supplies for your first night for milk, tea and coffee etc.
Bring some slippers with you to make the trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night easier - saves you from standing on wood lice in bare feet.
