Not the best hotel needs updating as the rooms were tatty and well used ,most staff were pleasant, , more russian tourists then English in the hotel

Bed hotel

The entire hotel is moldy. The morning breakfast is por and not good quality's food. The room have low standard and the staff are not so energetic to help you or support your needs. I have booked a room for 3 nights and after the first night my eyes and face have been affected by the moldy in the rooms. So please take this hotel out from your sistem. Is worst than hotel.

We found the hotel to be ok but a little tired . The fan in our room didn't work though wasn't a major problem as a/c was ok . The bathroom decour definately required some TLC . Tried the buffet breakfast once and was very disappointed in that . Overall all though better than alot of other Indian hotels we have stayed in .

Nice Hotel close to Colva Beach

Our stay for 3 nights was very pleasant. Dining is a little expensive but would expect better food quality at that price. Had booked 3 rooms and every one were quite happy.

Get ready to pay extra for EVERYTHING

Unfortunately my experience with this hotel was not pleasant. The outside facilities were nice but the room was dingy. The towels and sheets were itchy, telephone in the room did not work, and I had 3 cats jumping on my table during dinner and breakfast. Also, get ready to pay - wifi, limited; in-room safe - service charge; toothbrush - service charge. It's nickel and diming guests to death for a supposed 4-star hotel. Would not stay here again.

Stylish, good, clean property

Was here for a family stay, with kids. Almost all pool facing rooms, courteous staff, big clean pool, food was fine, the buffet dinner served during the stay, which was in the Christmas holidays, was mostly Asian, Indian, with a few continental dishes. The beach was a 5 min walk from the hotel. As we knew a common friend of the Hotel's Management, by co-incidence, we had the pleasure of being met & greeted by Mr. Desmond Sequeira, the F & B Manager. On the whole, a hotel with good ambience, cleanliness, styling, value for the money paid, with a clean beach next to it.

BOKA INTE DETTA HOTELLET

Det var de sämsta hotellet jag har bort på hittills. Hur fan folk kan ha raitat 3.2/5 på hotels.com är helt obegripligt för mig. Första vi bemöts med när vi kommer till hotellet är att dom vill ha 7000 ropie extra per person för en julfest som dom har arrangerat. " betalar ni inte detta nu så kan vi tyvärr inte ge er rummen som ni bokat". Poolen är trasig. Min syster skar upp halva foten då det saknas stenplattor på botten av poolen. Dom kunde till 85% av tiden inte erbjuda dig kallt vatten att dricka. Frukosten va de äckligaste jag har ätit. Bjöds på exakt samma sak varje morgon. Beställde du mat på restaurangen så tog se först 1h att få den och då är de nästa helt säkert att du får fel maträtt.

Golden Crown

Enjoyed our stay at the Golden Crown Hotel. Staff was very obliging and courteous. Food was excellent! Room was clean and no complaints. I would stay there again should I travel back to Goa. Location was good. Walk to the beach was five minutes and the walk in to town was easy and felt safe. Access of taxi's and scooter's outside the front door of the hotel was easy and affordable.

good and not so expensive stay at golden palms.

stay was excellent. staff was nice. only thing hurts is taxi service. there is a kind of compulsion that we have to hire their vehicle only.. they will make you suffer if you hire some other vehicle. food was not up to mark as other hotels in goa. but overall ok kind.

"Hotel and Spa" without the Spa

Great location, but room and facilities are rundown and need a good cleaning and repair. "Hotel and Spa" but Spa hasn't been functional in quite some time. Asked hotel staff to recommend another spa and got blank looks. Feral cats live on site and pester guests at the pool during meal times.

Better Hotel for Couples

Everything is Perfect, but few things are to be paid attention at; 1. Navigation Boards- There is no board for show the directions towards Hotel. 2. No beach View- The Hotel is about 500meters from beach but isn't facing towards sea nor has a sea view. 3. Vehicle Washing - I had my own SUV but when I requested a paid wash the management refused saying they don't.. I hope these things will be taken care of...

Good Experience

Appearance right from the entry is very good .Feels like you are entering some nice place .Staff is very cooperative.Rooms including the bathroom condition was very hygienic and clean.Morning breakfast was satisfactory.The buffet along with performances at night is very appealing .The night time ambience of the hotel is very good and really feels good to have your meals by the pool on one side and performances by artists on the other side.We had a good crowd staying around us and not cheap crowd making the stay quite comfortable with your spouse.

Stayed in Feb 2015. Service was good. However , the receptionists absolutely denied to check for any early check-ins , even though it was mentioned in our special requests. Not having vacant rooms is one thing.. but not at all wanting to check or showing an attitude like that is completely another. Otherwise rest of the stay was quite good and peaceful. After a club night , we arrived hungry at 12:30am wondering if we would get food , but the staff was co-operative and arrange food at the eerie hours. Quite thankful to them. However - I experienced some issues with the food in the breakfast buffet , as some items (baked beans , egg Omellete etc.) tasted like cooked in rancid oil. We complained to the staff and they said they will check . We didn't get a chance to check after that as we checked out. So hopefully they improve in that area.

Food ordered through restaurant

Over all good need to look into value of money while ordering through restaurant. Especially during nights when the buffet is on guest ordering through restaurant should receive the same attention and service. The order day when I ordered Gobi Manchuria dry I received initially gobimanchria wet and then for correction I received the same dish as Gobi manchruan dry by draining the sauce. That was the first time I felt that the dish looked so awful.
