"This cabin was the perfect basecamp for a couple of days of skiing at Purgatory. Completely private and just minutes from the resort, it’s ideally located between Durango and Silverton.The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wood-burning fireplace was a wonderful bonus and made evenings especially cozy after a day on the mountain.We brought our two dogs, and they absolutely loved exploring the surrounding woods and we enjoyed taking in the beautiful mountain views.We’ve already recommended this place to friends who plan to visit the area next summer. "Beautiful property on lots of land, perfect for our family reunion for Thanksgiving week. We had 2 grandparents with our 3 children, their spouses and 10 grandchildren. Ages 2 through 75. Comfortable bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, huge living room, gorgeous property for the kids to throw and kick balls, walk along the creek, collect rocks and fish. Ping pong in the garage with an extra refrigerator, washer and dryer. Nice laundry room, hot tub on the top deck. Our only suggestions are to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels and if you have young children bring plastic plates, cups, bowls and utensils. Everything is glass. "
