We did not stay. Too dirty, smelled. Old and needs bull dozed in. Staff scetchy. Do not stay here sleep in your car.

This is an older property. When we drove in, there was an older what appeared to be homeless couple eating with all their stuff laying in the shrubs and rocks. The rooms had no amenities at all. It was clean and did not smell of cigarettes but the hallways did smell of cigarettes.

Super nice young man at the front desk . The hotel smell was awful . Rooms were ok for the price . Location was not bad , the odor was horrible .

The midway diner is great. The property was out of town, but peaceful, clean and safe. Will come back!

Room had bedbugs, carpets were filthy, sheets we dirty and had hairs from prior occupants, comforter was soiled, tub was disgusting and it would not drain as you took a shower. Managment moved me to newly remodeled room in lower building that was much better.

It is nicely located right off the highway and just the other side of the parking lot there is a quaint little spot to get a good meal.

Surprisingly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didnt have problems with any of the other occupants. Absolutely 0 bugs. My room did smell a bit of smoke, but that also cleared out fairly quickly when we turned the ac on. Great for a cheap one night stay.

Stay somewhere else. Anywhere else.
We ended up not staying here as there were two Sheriff’s police cars arresting someone as we pulled in around 6:00 pm. We knew from other reviews there were long-term guests staying here and the police incident combined with the run down appearance of the property and number of people who were clearly living there just watching the scene play out sealed our decision to abandon our booking. The manager was kind enough to not charge us for the stay, so I give credit for that.

Columbia quick stay.
First impressions were less than desirable but not unexpected for a budget motel. It met all of the essentials however, clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Uncomfortable and Cold
We were exhasted when we arrived. The room heater was either not working or not big enough for the room. Too tired to do anything about it. Just bundled up and dealt with it. Felt like we were camping. Room needed maintenance but seemed clean.

The Midway Budget Inn is just that, a budget inn. It's not flashy, it's not a 5-star resort! It's an economical place to stay. The staff has always been friendly. My room has always been clean. I will stay here again.

The rooms were horrible. The lady at the front desk was rude as I sat waiting on my ride. After about 20mins of still waiting she turned and told me I hadda leave I couldn't sit in the lobby any longer. I was waiting on a ride. I wouldn't suggest this place to my worse enemy

Accommodations were okay but minimal. Would have enjoyed having a coffee machine. The hotel itself was visually neat from the exterior, but the surrounding area looked pretty sleazy. Had I driven in without a reservation, I would not have stayed.

You get what you pay for...
PROS: 1. The mattress was extremely comfortable. 2. Clean towels. 3. Friendly staff. 4. Cheap price. 5. Restaurant next door with good food. CONS: 1. Funky smell left behind by the cleaning chemicals used daily. 2. Lumpy pillows. 3. Trash not swept up off the floor before arrival. 4. "VERY CREEPY" people wandering outside or through the halls. Gives an unsafe vibe. 5. Cigarette smoke drifting into a "non-smoking" room through the neighboring room's bathroom connecting wall and from under the gap in the doorway from the hall. THOUGHTS: 1. For the price it's not too bad of a motel. 2. You get what you pay for, and we didn't expect much more than a comfortable room to sleep in while staying in the area. 3. We would "consider" staying again in the future. Keyword here is ... consider.
