Spacious Family Home by Lake, Near Mountains & USAFA

Come and enjoy this brand-new home! Located 3 minutes walking distance from Monument lake and 7 minutes from Historic Downtown Monument, where you can find various shopping and dinning opportunities. Every room has its own TV plus it has two living rooms, and a ping pong table. During the summer we provide two paddle boards for the lake.
Pikes National Forest is next door, offering plenty of outdoor recreation.
The house is great for a family gathering or reunion where guests can enjoy the lake, have easy access to Air Force Academy (10 minutes away), and visit Colorado Springs (Denver is about 50 north as well) and its gorgeous outdoor activities.

This is a chic and spacious single family house that you will have to yourself and can feel like home as you explore Colorado. The property is professionally cleaned and disinfected between every guest to ensure your safety and comfort. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to spread out and have privacy during your stay. There is a beautiful open living room upstairs with large windows letting in plenty of natural light. On cozy nights at the Hideout indulge in a warm fire and a movie. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and there are two dinning tables; one large dining table to gather all together and a smaller one for a quick snake. A front porch with mountain and lake views is the perfect spot for your morning coffee. the lake is 3 minutes walking distance. Head to the basement for another full level of comfort. There are two spacious bedrooms and a bath as well as a work spaces and a ping pong table. A ping pong table and a large tv-watching sports events will make it feel like a night out at home! We thoughtfully designed our home to make this an unforgettable and comfortable stay you will want to come back to on your next getaway.

Perfect Monument Location

Great Stay……

This house was the perfect answer to our needs…..we vacay with another family and it was perfectly situated to provide convenient access to the Mountains as well as all Colorado Springs and Monument/Larkspur activities……really impressed with the downtown area of Monument and if you go make sure and try a pizza from Papa Bear Pizza as well as some of the other local shops and eateries…….the lake is walking distance and beautiful for short hikes and fishing. Property was easy in and out and the contact with Zia was great and made check in and out stress free. Would definitely stay here again…….

Amazing Experience!

The house was very clean and well-furnished. It had all the amenities we needed. Checking in and out was easy, and it's a walking from cafe and restaurants. The house is big and cozy, and perfect for a small or big group. The outside view from the big windows and the quiet neighborhood was a plus. The host was very helpful and quick to answer our questions. We'd definitely recommend this place, and will be back when we visit again.

Beautiful Stay with Family

The home is exactly as pictured and beautifully located a 5 minute walk from Monument lake and conveniently located near downtown Monument which has several restaurants and coffee shops. It is also a short drive to several tourist attractions, we visited Garden of the God's , Pikes Peak, Seven Falls and Manitou Springs Cliff dwellings. We stayed with a family of 9 and a toddler and there was plenty of space for us to fit comfortably and house was clean. Zia was also very responsive to all of our questions. Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to return in the near future.

Nice Monument house close to the lake

We enjoyed staying in this cozy and spacious home with our family of 6. The living area is very livable and all the beds very very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and the ping pong table was a hit with our kids! The location is central and easy to access. The main recommendation I have is to not keep the fire place switch in a lock box b/c previous renters used it too much. You can just post a sign next to the fireplace that states to limit the use to a certain number of hours a day and trust that most people would respect that. Our host was very responsive and we really appreciated that!

Zia is great!

The check-in & out & location were great, (close to Gleneagle where we gathered for a family reunion. ) The beds were comfy, the house was perfectly roomy for our family of 11, ages 5 -75, & very child-proof with no fragile items to protect. Zia was very earnest & responsive to requests & did everything he could to ensure a good stay! A bonus was that the neighbors were happy to take our surplus food & drinks when we left !

Great location

First the good: the location was great, with easy access to USAFA for our daughter's graduation. We had a long-standing reservation for another property that was canceled the day of our arrival. We found this house as a last-minute back-up. The property manager answered all of my questions promptly, allowing us to quickly make arrangements during a difficult situation. When we arrived, there were fresh roses on the table. They were so lovely, we thought they were fake! There was plenty of room for our extended family of 9, and the ping-pong table was a hit. The neighborhood was nice, with easy walking access to the lake, trails, parks, shopping, and dining. Unfortunately, there was inadequate seating upstairs - the separated sectional sofa only had seating for four. in addition, the property was somewhat lacking in maintenance. The yard was weedy and some of the furniture was in disrepair. There was coffee in the coffeepot, some trashcans hadn't been emptied, and the linens didn't seem fresh. Fortunately, these problems were all easily fixed, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Since these issues weren't listed in other reviews, I hope that our experience was an anomaly. One thing that would have been helpful would have been a binder with information about the area, trash pickup days, and checkout procedures.

Great Place!

We had the best stay at this property. Two families shared this spacious house! PLENTY OF ROOM!! Check-in was very easy. The lake is literally a three minute walk. Close to Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, restaurants, shopping and groceries. TV's in every room. Clean! The property owner was very responsive and great to work with! We will be back next year. Thanks for a great stay!

The house was large and accommodating for our family. We would definitely stay again. The owner was accommodating to allow us to take possession a day early, would probably account for the carpet needing a good cleaning. Otherwise things were pretty much in order. Great location in Monument and Palmer Lake area.

We had 9 adults staying for a family Wedding event .with plenty of room to spare . Check in was easy using a digital lock. We cooked breakfast every morning. The host was awesome! He actually allowed us to check in early and leave our luggage in the garage as we arrived early. The house was in a good neighborhood and the lake near by was beautiful! Easy access to multiple locations we visited while our stay and just a beautiful view of the mountains from the house!
